The best insecticides I've used so far against killing off resistant bedbugs is temprid sc, bedlam ,nuvian pro strips and cimXa dust there are others that worked decent like gentrol and alpine but not nearly as good as those and I think it's because they are getting a good resistance to them so the full grown bedbugs seem to take them like a champ especially but the instar nymphs are especially susceptible to most all of them.
Study suggests: "Insecticidal Nets May Be Source for Bed Bug Resistance" beyondpesticides.org/dailynewsblog/2011/12/insectidal-nets-may-be-source-for-bed-bug-resistance/ Genetic evidence collected shows that the bed-bugs infesting households in America are not domestic bed bugs, but imports. This explanation is as yet the most plausible for understanding the bed bug resurgence.
There is a US company called Cedarcide which uses red cedar oil against bed bugs, they claim it's quite effective against these creatures, and not toxic to humans and pets. 2 hours away from home, and the cedar fog should do the job. I had to spend a week in the heat of a California summer with a steamer to take out mine, that was before I'd heard of the cedar people.
Cedar is a really good repellent, it works really good on fleas too. I've even thought about using cedar chips as a alternative to traditional mulch around my house to hopefully deter them from entering. It's smells good also lol.

Yeah, as a person who is afraid of bugs I'm thrilled this is an assignment.
