HEY THERE! So I recently just turned 16 last month and my some of family members are helping me get everything for my dream setup the PC, the equipment, desk, EVERYTHING! I really appreciate you and the hard work that you went through! 👍
I think there’s aspects of this that are cool, yes working and saving money can lend themselves to success, but not all people have the access to opportunity that you might have. The best thing to do however is to look for the best available option and work hard. Some people are burdened with some responsibilities as kids due to incompetent or neglectful parents, you do have a good starting foundation from your parents and that would be stable food and care (at least I’m guessing) I think it’s good that you did that tho, congrats on the success
So inspirational! I’m 13 and have the same gameplan as you so far and have a starting setup of around $1200. One of the best videos I have seen in a while!
Suprizingly i completely respect this video. I totally thought this was going to be some video about how you got rich off of yt or sponserships super fast with little work. But this was amazing and you definatly earned that setup

@@fakeangel2040 good job you deserved it. i just built my 2000 dollar gaming pc at 14 years old but i paid for the whole thing. my parents said that they will pay for the keyboard, mouse, headset, and basically all peripherals except for monitor and pc so i was able to work for it by mowing lawns and stuff for a year as well as volunteering at places and my parents said they would reward me for that. I have done the same with my $5000+ setup at 15, it truly does make the setup more special. The key for me is just find something you find fun. I just mow lawns for 4 hours a week and listen to youtube, music, etc. I occasionally will treat diseases in lawns too but that is generally outside of my understanding. At the moment I make about $4500 a year. Anytime I am offered to do more money for something I take it despite me not wanting to do it or what. Just find something you can do without it being so unbearably boring, and take side jobs that you're offered. It doesn't take too much tbh. Maybe I am lucky with the rates I get and I probably am but you'd be surprised what some people will pay if you do high quality jobs.

I'm really happy for you that you managed to pay for this all by yourself. Assuming your story is true, it definitely sounds like you earned it. But to everyone in the comments: 10,000 in 4 years requires some luck, connections and a good starting point, no matter who you are. This is not a how to guide to get what you want or get rich.
I didn't start with any connections or any followers, I built everything I have from the ground up. You're right, this isn't a guide to get rich, it's my personal story, but the point was to inspire and show people that you DON'T need a big starting point or a ton of money to start chasing your passion, you just have to go make it happen.
@@masoncargile judging from the size of your room, im guessing your parents have more money than mine (unless you managed to buy a house at 16 too) and your story mentioned multiple times how you got decent paying jobs through people you knew. again, definitely sounds like you deserve what you have, but i really dont believe it is achievable for everyone, at least at 16

This is a great video, I can relate with the refereeing. I’m from Australia and I started refereeing Rugby League at the age of 13 (I’m still currently doing it at the age of 16), and I originally was making $22 a game (AUD), I am now averaging $20-40 a game. It’s easy money to make and I would recommend refereeing as a job as it’s also a good way to keep fit. I’m trying to make a good setup and all I need to complete it is another cheap monitor and a gaming pc. Do you have any recommendations for a Gaming PC around $2000 AUD?
Got mad respect for you, I was just watching tv when I was 12 but you were making money! And I also noticed you have really good speaking skills compared to most other RUclipsrs that are adults. Keep up the good work!
I wanna be like you but I can't. I gotta follow my own path. I'm 16 and have started this RUclips channel. All my life you have been a big inspiration today. Thanks
Also tip I found with research is when doing RUclips don't post 1 video as your fist one post around 3-5 or so when you first start(not from experience I am not a youtuber but I did research from other youtubers)
YES, I have been telling people to refferee for a long time. In my area you can start doing hockey when your 10 y/o. I started doing 5 games a week at 20$ each, now I do more of 20 games a week (two or three a day) and make about 55-75% for a 1 1/2-2 hr game... its great (and the rates are going up again soon!) DO SOME REFEREEING
Ok, literally everything you did to get money I couldn't even do! I can't do art, I can't have TicTok, and I don't even have WiFi, I only have hotspot that my parents don't really like me using. I'm just going to work with my dad until I get a truck for another job. I'm renovating a large trailer for around $2000, right now I have a ~$2,000 setup and I'm also 16. But dang, I love your setup! Since I was about 13 years old I had my first $1,000, I bought a motorcycle when I was 15, an 87 mustang GT is a nice car I would like to tune up! But I'll have to get a new job first.
Thank you man. You are my inspiration because i am 12 and I don’t really know what are how I can grow my channel are twitch I am really doing all this on my phone and it’s tuff

$10.000 Setup *That mic tho*
@@masoncargile judging from the size of your room, im guessing your parents have more money than mine (unless you managed to buy a house at 16 too) and your story mentioned multiple times how you got decent paying jobs through people you knew. again, definitely sounds like you deserve what you have, but i really dont believe it is achievable for everyone, at least at 16
My man! You will be huge! Natural Talent!
Awesome! Honest hustle, creativity, and monetizing your passions. Great message for everybody, but especially they young paople. Much respect.
Thanks slush this is a great story.
For a 16 yr/old you are actually pretty inspirational my dude. Your destined for greatness. And wouldnt mind seeing you in the major leagues of twitch and yt oje day.
Amazing video, I learned so much and am so inspired by this. I'm 15 and on the grind!
I respect u instead of bragging about Ur setup Ur telling us how to get it
This just brought up a whole different universe for me.
omg the ad 😂
"this is a switchbike"
"this is a switchbike"
"this is my ten thousand dollar gaming setup"
Years ago, I started saving at the age of 9 after a year I somehow managed to get over 2k dollars... but lost it all because I was clumsy, than I started saving again at 11 and got 4k [true story] within 2 months, guess I'm just a good gambler B)
Him : How I afforded 10000$ at age 16.
Also him: Get a job and just fucking work!
This has given me more confidence to actually do stuff on my own channel. As soon as I can I will, thx for the confidence boost. I needed it!!!!
I also started YT after covid with online classes and that was the best decision of my life!
Dope asf ! 🔥
I love rugby bro
nzxt computers
10k and still can't afford a decent mic
Got mad respect for you, I was just watching tv when I was 12 but you were making money! And I also noticed you have really good speaking skills compared to most other RUclipsrs that are adults. Keep up the good work!
i hope i was born in the states cuz where i live there is no way for me to make money like this guy made it. love you bro keep going!
Been watching since 10k homie good luck too 50k!
💙💙💙
I wanna be like you but I can't. I gotta follow my own path. I'm 16 and have started this RUclips channel. All my life you have been a big inspiration today. Thanks
CONGRATS SLUSH!!!!
Bro with the mindset that you have, You are gonna go places. I wish you the best of luck in the future. Keep up the great work!
I started doing 5 games a week at 20$ each, now I do more of 20 games a week (two or three a day) and make about 55-75% for a 1 1/2-2 hr game... its great (and the rates are going up again soon!) DO SOME REFEREEING
ggs bro
love ur vids , gl 4 the rest of ur way
This kid has better work ethic than most adults who I work with. Mason you will go super far in life my friend.
I had to look twice to make sure it really said 10k man I’m proud of you your winning at life
Mans turned his mindset into a grindset… good shit
At 16 i was studying business(which i dont care for) and getting into fights. Big props to you random dude that youtube recommended👍
Bro I respect the grind man keep it up
Thank you man. You are my inspiration because i am 12 and I don’t really know what are how I can grow my channel are twitch I am really doing all this on my phone and it’s tuff
