My God… Just the driveway pavers and the rest of the stonework at the entryway is mine boggling. Then you add in all the rest of the property to take care of and the rest of the stone walls? Beautiful place you have there Ken. I hope you get lots more years to enjoy it with your family and some grandchildren! Bet it makes you sad to see the track overgrown? Every year we have to do repairs to the trails nearby. The 4wd tear it a new bumm every winter. But it's worth it because, it's nice to have a place to ride in the city. It's a 3 hr ride to northern Michigan. Or 5 or 6 to go ride in West Virginia! Keep the 2 wheels down Ken and crew!
Just a gorgeous spot good thing you scooped that up when you did not many spots across New England any more 60+ acres and if it is for sale you better have plenty of this💵 I’m happy with my 7 acres in northern NH right in the middle of the woods so peaceful God bless America 🇺🇸💪🏼🦅

The videos don’t do justice. I grew up in Tolland on the Green in a 1790 center chimney colonial with 5 giant fireplaces. I always enjoy driving by the Kaplan compound. You’ve built something that will last generations.

I live in Tolland too. I'm over by Shenipsit lake. Nice town. Taxes are a little high though. Mature beech trees are often hollow inside and animals like raccoons like to use then as a home. As a kid I climbed many beech trees just because the spacing of the branches worked out perfect for climbing.

I’m a tree man/arborist ken and been a oak man all my life but also cut and sold many our other species of hardwood in Ky and would love to have my own forest of whiteys that size…got the 47” stihl 880 on Alaskan mill I’ve cut some slabs with….beast
