We both can get very competitive, especially against each other. Though, in most games, Paul usually has a better outcome. This is just revenge for all the times he’s wiped the floor with me when we play a video game together. That could definitely be an interesting idea! We may workshop that and see what we can do to make it happen. -James
When James picked Atomic Liquor I KNEW this was gonna be an excellent video. Classic old school Vegas vibes everyone should visit at least once. Mad history..... I need that pineapple cider!!
I know, right. That may have also been one of my choices but I also had a few others in mind if I had won. Like inside of El Cortez is a really nice cocktail bar I was researching ahead of our trip, but I am glad he chose that because it really had a fun vintage hipster vibe similar to some of the places we have in Downtown Phoenix and if James and I were to move to Vegas, I could totally see us visiting Atomic Liquor every now and then for a beer or cocktail just because of how cool it was. But by the time we reached the last round though, I had it… and sure, I could have gone with Vegas Vickie’s at Circa, Carousel Bar at Plaza, or even Margaritas inside of Golden Nugget, but… I was salty by that point and a spiked agua fresca at Dirt Dog was calling me 😂😂😂 that Pineapple Cider was so good. It looks like Total Wine may have it (if you have access to one near you) www.totalwine.com/beer/cider/other-fruit-cider/castellum-pineapple-cream/p/2126255681 -Paul
Yeah. Ya looked ragged lol. But a great video nonetheless. Gotta swing by total wine for that cider!! Remember if we ever bump into you guys, I got a burger (or Coney!) with y'all's name on it! Lol. And I'll have to show James MY Star Wars tattoo.
28:59 I really enjoyed t his video. 1 Drawing cards made it more exciting. 2 Every part of LV has its own flavor and pros/cons. So, thanks for exploring. Maybe go to Circus Circus to see if it has any pros? 3 This video really hit the spot for me. I have been thinking about staying at El Cortez and going to the establishments that are close to The Fremont Street Experience, but aren't under the LED Lightshow Roof. It's just a question of how "iffy" the neighborhood is. Thanks 😊
Glad to hear you enjoyed this one! Downtown Vegas definitely has its own unique vibe when compared to the strip, so it’s fun to have a little contrast in our experiences now and then. We’ve been to Circus Circus a few times now, but we’ve yet to feature anything on the channel. We know that eventually we’ll have to stay a night there though. However, we’ve heard great things about the steakhouse. While I can’t speak to the quality of the rooms, I will say that El Cortez is still right near the Fremont East District and seems to be in a safe enough area. I wouldn’t feel uncomfortable there after dark. -James
One of our favorite videos makes a comeback!! 😊 Jeff said he absolutely wanted to take James to the tables with him after this! (Sorry, Paul!! 🫣😅) I love Nacho Daddy and I almost got the Golden Knights Nachos last time, so if I find myself there in February I'll definitely try those! Thanks for the shout-out as well!! We love y'all!! 🫶
Thank you Amber! Winner Picks Dinner is one of our favorites too! We already have a few ideas for future installments, so expect more this year(at least one) and beyond. That was actually our first time at Nacho Daddy, and I must say that it was fantastic! I can’t wait to go back to try more and film an entire video. As far as me at the tables, I’m usually the one with awful luck… so I’m more sure how I keep doing so well at this. Finally, you are absolutely welcome! Thank you for your continued support. It means so much to us. -James
Great Video! ☺I love it. You guys are super delightful. 😉 You guys are the best reality show I wish existed.😍 I can't wait to try the card game on my next Vegas trip.🤩
Thank you for watching and we’re glad that you enjoyed it! We love doing Winner Picks Dinner for a fun night in Vegas. It’s a great way to experience so much in a short time. -James
Thanks for featuring downtown restaurants again. Anything past El Cortez is Siberia to us. The animated map was really helpful (and technically impressive).
Thank you, the animated map was definitely something I taught myself how to do in After Effects when we did the first version of this video on the strip, but I will say that past El Cortez aside from Atomic Liquors and the Container Park, there wasn’t really much on Fremont Street itself, but I will say that I did love all the murals and artwork along the way which made for a fun and urban walk with cool stuff to look at. I cannot speak on the safety of those streets though so when in doubt, rideshare. As for Atomic Liquors. It truly is a gem if you like dive bars with some cool vintage history, and the beers were not over $10. -Paul
Thank you! We’re glad you enjoyed it! We love shaking things up a bit with some fun videos, and winner picks dinner is a fabulous way to show off a lot of things in one video fairly easily. I would say it’s safe to say to expect another installment in the future. -James
Awe thank you. And while the lighthearted competitive nature of it is fun, having it turn out exactly like the first one was not 😡 I almost feel like we need to do it some time again this year just so I can have a proper win and actually choose some of the places 😂😂😂 I cannot believe the odds of it turning as it did. I know that the probability is there for it to happen and all, but that’s some wicked fate. -Paul
That’s generally the end goal. While this one is under the theme of “a night out on Fremont Street” and we had a lot of fun making this one (especially using the game as the main thing to push it forward because these videos are so unpredictable), the end goal that we try to aim for in our videos is “infotainment” Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching ❤️ -Paul
Well we are filming another one on this week’s trip. The theme is a secret and where it falls on the release schedule is TBD but we will be making another one 😉 Thanks for watching and we are glad you enjoyed ❤️ -Paul
Thanks for watching and glad to hear you enjoyed it. It truly was a fun time. But now I feel like we have to try this a third time in a future trip just so I can at least get some redemption. As they say… Third time has to be a charm. -Paul
I love winner picks dinner!! James, you must have Alan’s luck with these wins 😝 Don’t worry Paul your time is coming!! Also, Fat Sal’s looked absolutely amazing. We both love a sloppy sandwich and that menu more than fits the bill. I already can’t wait for the next winner picks dinner…. Or maybe monorail crawl? 🤞🏻
It’s funny you mention that because we have thought about the Monorail, but we have also toyed with some other ideas just to keep things fresh. That being said, I am watching Mammoth Club’s Islands of Adventure Snack Draft video at the moment and OMG that food at Islands of Adventure looks pretty good. While we will likely never do a “snack draft” in Vegas, I am loving vicariously through all the food they are showing. And yeah… James has been having luck like Alan on these last two - I did make mention of that but ended up not leaving that in for the final video because unless you are a regular viewer of Mammoth Club, it wouldn’t make sense, but I am totally the Molly. And to think we use cards and not Rock Paper Scissors so it’s all our luck too 😂 Fat Sal’s was really good (if you want to pig out). And they also have loaded fries with marinara sauce and cheese that essentially look like their version of those “Pizza Fries” that all the HHN vloggers rave about, plus much more. -Paul
Glad you guys did Downtown Vegas and went to a few places we wanted to check out next time we go out there. Downtown is a lot of fun with so many places to check out. Hope you guys explore it a bit more for future videos.
Oh it totally is. And there’s plenty more Downtown coming. While our next trip is very much a mostly strip centric trip (with Aria and Paris), we do have one night Downtown at The D, and we can finally film that Glitter Gulch Tiki Bar video (and if we can stomach it… a full video for Fat Sal’s because they don’t just have sandwiches, they have so much more). We also have our stay at Circa, some cocktails at Legacy Club, and dinner at 8 East still needing to be edited and released, so there is definitely some more Downtown content coming. Not to mention we have 2 nights booked at Golden Nugget in May. And we do have a few Chinatown places planned out to film for this months trip. Our goal for this year is to try and diversify some of our content because there’s a lot of cool stuff to see and do that often goes under appreciated or overlooked. -Paul
Well, welcome and thank you so much! We hope that you continue to enjoy our videos! Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. We really appreciate it! -James
Guys, that walking/animation was cool 🎉. What a fun game. I like the fact that you gave props to the originators of the game and put the link....much respect. Good suggestions. Fun!!! Salud 🍻 PS: Nothing wrong with being a pumpkin 'beech' 😂
Thanks so much. This truly was a fun experience and in all honesty we need to just have that one unstructured and unpredictable type of video on the docket just to have some fun while we do this. I am quite surprised with some of the places James picked and also just how affordable a lot of it was which was a vast difference to the first one where I was salty at the end from losing every round and chose the Minus 5 Ice Bar 😂😂😂 We just watched your video on Virgil’s BBQ Happy Hour and I kept telling James. Linq Promenade really does have some decent stuff. And I would love to connect. We tried reaching out on Instagram but I think our messages may have hit that weird Instagram void. Sadly our January trip doesn’t have any wiggle room, but May’s details outside of where we booked have not yet been planned so let’s try and make something happen ❤️ -Paul
Yeah… that was something LOL It was comical at just how much it aligned with the first one we did… by the end I was like, “What are the odds!” We did it again tonight and that will be a future video, but let’s just say… we learned a few things about late night options in Las Vegas and without spoiling anything… Late Night options are not what they used to be when we were younger 😮 So when it comes to Late Night, even when you win… was it really a win? -Paul
Thank you so much! We’re glad that you enjoyed! We’ve had a lot of fun making the Winner Picks Dinner videos, and definitely plan on doing it again in the future. -James
Thank you so much. We get a lot of comments on the shirts and I have to say. A lot of it is just either of us trying to find a fun shirt whenever we can for the type of video we are doing (and/or just planning something fun to wear that’s festively “Vegas”) and for this video, the tiki vibe on a bowler shirt just kinda fit the fun vintage theme of “Fremont Street” Thank you for watching and we are glad to hear you enjoyed. -Paul
This was AWESOME!! Gave me some great ideas for our upcoming trip in a few weeks. We are big fans of Atomic Liquors, but have never been to Nacho Daddy. And that sandwich from Fat Sal’s looked bomb. And we’ve seen so much love for Sorry Not Sorry on social media, really hoping we get to some or all of these spots. Great video guys 🫶🏼👏🏼✌🏼
Thank you! We’re glad that you enjoyed this one! I gotta say, I highly recommend Fat Sal’s. It’s our new favorite pig out spot in Vegas. We’ll be doing a full review on them when we go back out in a few weeks. -James
Luv that you're doing downtown Vegas trip! One of these trips, you should stay at the English hotel in the arts District and then you can try all the good food there and art! Keep it up guys! Soul Belly has yummy pulled pork!
Really fun video guys. Next time downtown waffelato at the container park has fantastic ice cream. Also a little hang and the sand dollar in plaza is always fun. Also I’d love to see some tiki bar videos as well
We’ll actually be filming a tiki bar video at Glitter Gulch on the next trip here in a few weeks. Looking forward to that one! Glad you enjoyed, and thank you for watching! We appreciate it! -James
I probably should have 😂😂😂 What I edited out of the final video is that I even bought a pot leaf 🍃 deck from the gift shop at The Plaza for good luck, and it looks like my deck may have just been a bit too “stoned” 😂😂😂 -Paul
Always… if we ever borrow or use another idea we get inspired by, we will always give the original creator credit for originating it. And that’s why we use cards versus rock paper scissors, because we still want to differentiate it and make it our own. The idea is GOLD though, and it’s fun. It’s a testament to how much their content makes an impact on us because they are always so positive and we strive to be as great as they are. -Paul
Nope… he did not. His stack was purely a whole stack as we put the cards back into the box between each round. The craziest part is that this was all up to chance and what are the odds that we would get the exact same outcome as the first one? If I remember correctly on the first one. We also had a tie happen somewhere in there when we were drawing at Park MGM for dessert and I don’t remember if I left that in or edited it out, but the only difference between the first two was the tie happening on a different round. Odds and probability are a weird thing 😵💫 I almost feel like we need to make another one this year just to hopefully have a different outcome. I want to win more rounds - I have cool stuff to showcase too LOL -Paul
Nacho Daddy was great! I’m a sucker for a giant pile of nachos. We definitely will be going back to try more in the future! As far as Paul’s luck, I’m sure it will turn around at some point. -James
Strictly speaking, Paul actually won the entree draw as Hearts outranks Clubs in pretty much any card game where suits matter. Either way, another banger from you 2 boys and Heather was uber joyed regarding your engagement shout out in your last non-slot video (as was our son, Jason).
Wait… So I could have gotten my Coney Dog at The D? 😮 Mind Blown… 🤯 Because I was equating it to a tie in Baccarat where it’s a push. But we will be staying at The D this month so I am sure we will get that Coney Dog 🌭 -Paul
That is a stumper 😵😵💫… I uploaded it like usual, and disputed all the claims for the music files in the video (which were released by the time it went live this morning). I can look into it on RUclips studio, but everything seemed to upload as normal on my end last night when I got it in the queue before bed. While I can’t guarantee to know how or why, I will at least see if there anything in RUclips studio on that end. -Paul
I did check and distribution is set to “everywhere” which is always the default, and the video has not been live long enough to track demographics, so I am not sure why or how it’s not working on her end. And I do apologize, but it’s set for standard RUclips license and distribution everywhere so I unfortunately do not have a definitive answer as to why it may not be working on her end 😢 -Paul
@@JamesandPaulTryitAll She saw it. Oddly, she had to watch last week's video to get to today's. *shrug* oh no *dripping sarcasm* she has to watch our engagement congratulations again! thanks for your due diligence!
While I did LOVE Fat Sal’s, I am still salty about that one - I should have won with that Queen (there was seriously only a tiny percentage of the deck that could have beaten that 😂😂😂) I did at least put the info for them into the video when editing so that way our audience can know about American Coney Island as it’s a great cheap eats option and who doesn’t love Chili and Cheese on things? We will be staying at The D for one night this month and I will get that Coney Dog (and maybe some Chili Cheese Fries because “why not?” 😂😂😂) and of course we will film a short segment for hopefully a short and part of that video, so the coney dog will make it onto the channel and I will savor every bit of it. Thanks for watching and we do hope you enjoyed ❤️ -Paul
Sorry Paul,I'm with James. NO BUGS in my drink!! I've been waiting for Fat Sal's to open in the food hall! YEAH. That was fun & Paul you still win cause you get to eat that good food!! ❤😅 Let's all keep the people in LA in our thoughts & prayers 🙏. We had 2 family friends lose everything!! God bless.
Yes to keeping LA in our thoughts because we also have a lot of friends out there who have been checking in on FB and while we thankfully have not had any friends lose their homes, we do know of quite a few them who have had to evacuate, not to mention the amount of damage has been catastrophic and overall it’s just been such a tragedy 😢 - and I cannot imagine just how bad the air quality is right now. And yes, the win was getting to enjoy all the food and drinks, but I am so getting that Coney Dog in a few weeks when we stay at The D halfway through our trip. -Paul
You ate the Fat Sal but you shun a burger at Heart Attack Grill? I think you guys should do a HAG vid. Burgers are pretty good and it’s actually a fun place. Lots of laughs when we go there.
We’re familiar with Heart Attack Grill from when they opened their original location in Tempe AZ. It’s been a bit since we’ve had the food, so we may have to go back there eventually to give them a shot, but our opinion at the moment is that it’s not worth the calories. -James
I mean, basically all the other places along the Fremont street district. There are so many options. Not as much as the strip, but definitely no shortage of places to eat and drink. -James
Omg Paul’s reactions are priceless love the concept another video idea is asking strangers on the street for their favorites.
We both can get very competitive, especially against each other. Though, in most games, Paul usually has a better outcome. This is just revenge for all the times he’s wiped the floor with me when we play a video game together.
That could definitely be an interesting idea! We may workshop that and see what we can do to make it happen.

-James
I would have switched decks . Fun videos
I probably should have 😂😂😂
What I edited out of the final video is that I even bought a pot leaf 🍃 deck from the gift shop at The Plaza for good luck, and it looks like my deck may have just been a bit too “stoned” 😂😂😂
-Paul
@JamesandPaulTryitAll thats too funny
I was going to make a comment about Mammoth glad it was acknowledged. I love Vegas for the adult fun and Universal for the big kid I still am at heart
I feel exactly the same way! Theme parks nourish my inner child, and Vegas satisfies my more mature side.

@ makes me wanna do a version in Milwaukee with dice to honor our tradition of bar dice
James, did you have the face cards bent? LOL I was feeling sorry for Paul. I love this style of video.
Odds and probability are a weird thing 😵💫
I almost feel like we need to make another one this year just to hopefully have a different outcome.
I want to win more rounds - I have cool stuff to showcase too LOL
-Paul
@ Please make another one!
I love Nacho Daddy’s. They have a vegan menu that tastes delicious. Sorry about your bad luck Paul. I’d check all my cards next time😂.
Nacho Daddy was great! I’m a sucker for a giant pile of nachos. We definitely will be going back to try more in the future!
As far as Paul’s luck, I’m sure it will turn around at some point.
-James
Fun video
Thank you so much! I’m happy that you enjoyed it. We had a blast making it.
Mind Blown… 🤯
Because I was equating it to a tie in Baccarat where it’s a push.
But we will be staying at The D this month so I am sure we will get that Coney Dog 🌭
-Paul
@@JamesandPaulTryitAll on an unrelated note: Heather can't access the video in the UK, what's up with that?
That is a stumper 😵😵💫… I uploaded it like usual, and disputed all the claims for the music files in the video (which were released by the time it went live this morning).
I can look into it on RUclips studio, but everything seemed to upload as normal on my end last night when I got it in the queue before bed.
While I can’t guarantee to know how or why, I will at least see if there anything in RUclips studio on that end.
-Paul
I did check and distribution is set to “everywhere” which is always the default, and the video has not been live long enough to track demographics, so I am not sure why or how it’s not working on her end.
And I do apologize, but it’s set for standard RUclips license and distribution everywhere so I unfortunately do not have a definitive answer as to why it may not be working on her end 😢
-Paul
@@JamesandPaulTryitAll She saw it. Oddly, she had to watch last week's video to get to today's. *shrug* oh no *dripping sarcasm* she has to watch our engagement congratulations again! thanks for your due diligence!
Definetly should have went to American Coney Dog. My wife and I had it last time we went to Fremont and we both loved them.
While I did LOVE Fat Sal’s, I am still salty about that one - I should have won with that Queen (there was seriously only a tiny percentage of the deck that could have beaten that 😂😂😂)
I did at least put the info for them into the video when editing so that way our audience can know about American Coney Island as it’s a great cheap eats option and who doesn’t love Chili and Cheese on things?
We will be staying at The D for one night this month and I will get that Coney Dog (and maybe some Chili Cheese Fries because “why not?” 😂😂😂) and of course we will film a short segment for hopefully a short and part of that video, so the coney dog will make it onto the channel and I will savor every bit of it.
Thanks for watching and we do hope you enjoyed ❤️
-Paul
Good luck! (The ad is still playing, I have no idea what any of it means!)
lol! I appreciate the encouragement!
-James
-Paul
Y'all should draw from each other's decks
That could be an interesting idea!
-James
You ate the Fat Sal but you shun a burger at Heart Attack Grill? I think you guys should do a HAG vid. Burgers are pretty good and it’s actually a fun place. Lots of laughs when we go there.
We’re familiar with Heart Attack Grill from when they opened their original location in Tempe AZ. It’s been a bit since we’ve had the food, so we may have to go back there eventually to give them a shot, but our opinion at the moment is that it’s not worth the calories.
-James
I’m the Paul in my relationship lol
Lol. That’s not a bad thing. He’s a much better partner than I deserve.
-James
@ That is sweet 🩷
What were all the places that didn’t win?
I mean, basically all the other places along the Fremont street district. There are so many options. Not as much as the strip, but definitely no shortage of places to eat and drink.
-James
@ Paul needs a deck of all aces so he can make a Paul’s choice episode!
@@EWitz1 don’t give him any ideas!
-James
Wait… I can stack the deck?
I mean… we are doing this between each other so there’s no gaming commission 😈
Hmmmm… Ideas 💡
