As much as I want to get a new one...my 2016 XLE has been SUCH a GREAT car over the 104k I've put on it, it's hard to give it up. It still drives and looks like new...due to my rather OCD maintenance I suppose!lol! I have no doubt the new engines will also last like the good ole' 2GR FE!
The four-cylinder turbo has more power than the V6. The torque has been increased. It is absolutely amazing when it comes to power don’t knock it till you’ve tried it at least a 2023 Highlander platinum, More luxurious than my Lexus
@toyotausa you could say almost for an yr ITS SUCH A BADA** SUV that's its perfect for the size and the adventures that I wanna go on this highlander I use to want the LX600 but I already found my SUV and that's the Highlander itself I Trust the Highlander cause it's reliable and dependable and won't let me down and THIS IS THE BEST ONROAD SUV EVER?!!

Additionally, I love its elegance and the perfect size it has. It’s a beautiful SUV. I have a Highlander Limited in pearl white.

I can understand the 2025 Camry or even the 2023 Corolla midlife refresh being cynically marketed as all-new , but not this 2024 Highlander. I think someone made a mistake or the staff responsible are full of it.

For the USA is Toyota Highlander for Australia Kluger a new model to South Africa 5 seat SUV should be named Toyota Highlander Cross based on Suzuki LX6 & LX7 the model should not come to Australia .
Why Toyota..why?! I own a 2015 higlander XLE. I can fit 5 people and 4 large suitcases in the trunk = Perfect Family SUV. I want to replace it for a 2024 hybrid platinum, but I would be forced to get captain seats in the second row which will force one of my 5 passengers to sit in the third row, and the cargo space will be so reduced that I would only be able to fit 2 big suitcases! The option offered: get a lower trim...but I want the full safety package and luxury that are available only in the platinum😢 Why? Toyota, why do you force us to get captain seats in the top and more desirable tier? Will the second row have the option of bench seat in the highlander hybrid platinum 2025? This is really a deal breaker. Should I just keep driving my 2015 highlander?
🖐😳 was considering a Highlander and recently spent a week driving the California coast in a rented 2024. The week convinced me to take it off my possibles list. Drive is ok, not great, inside is cheap plastic everywhere and looks cheap too. The dash layout is the most jumbled, confused dash I’ve ever seen. Pretty thirsty on gas too. To my surprise, definite pass.

I ❤ the Highlander, but I reserve the third row for kids, I ❤ the Platinum, thats my favorite trim, Blueprint is a fantastic color

You could just get the XLE hybrid grade though in the highlander but I understand what you mean wish they had bench seats as an option too this sucks
