Too bad psyker can't get the braced auto guns. The braced and infantry auto guns are pretty different. You may have an even better time with the columnus auto gun!
@@Redditor6079 Columnus does have a number of blessings that increase damage or power, with dumdum and fire frenzy being the theoretical best, but none of them interact with stagger. The stat "stopping power has influence on stagger though. Auto guns do get a better stagger rate than lasguns though.
I ran this gun with executioner stance as vet and did 1 mil damage in an auric maelstrom with randos. Never ran out of ammo and the daka and carried the game. I also tried this on zealot with maxed attack speed, the daka is AC130 speed and it melt crushers with fury and momentum. Truly the funniest daka gun.
Solo mode has like 1/4 of the enemies... you're forgetting that the AI actively decides what to send at you. That it only sees 1 player, means it will send 1 players worth of stuff. Solo mode in Darktide isn't much indication of how good someone is.
Its quite nice Executioner's stance gives the braced autoguns tighter fire groups at longer ranges so you don't feel nerfed compared to using something with iron sights or a scope while still retaining the Braced's just face melting potential at shorter ranges. I haven't tired the Graia yet but the Agripina version is amazing.
I'm gonna give this a go with my Vet. Have a build that uses the weapon specialist keystone and have taken the talent just above it for the stacking brittleness on hits. My columnus can take out a crusher in about 3/4 of a mag and even faster if I've softened them up with a shredder grenade. Not the most optimal build but it is a lot of fun, especially since I also have all the 'nade talents on it, too. Awesome vid, love how easy you make it look :)

Good gameplay, Braced weapons are fun to mow down hordes with but bullet economy is never good enough compared to lasguns, if I could make it work I'd love to be a support machinegunner in Darktide
I actually argue in the reverse, that lasguns have good ammo economy but poor dps so you're liable to get overrun by hordes. In a team with adequate melee control, it's fine since your primary role is elite/special sniping but otherwise close range mobs will frequently lock you into melee just like you do their shooters. That said, even Graia's a bit messy offsetting this. I personally prefer the Agripinaa variant since it has punch-through so you can shoot up the crowd several mobs deep instead of just the ones in front. Otherwise, it's great for the...spray-and-pray.

If you take off the two talents under the Krak grenades talent, you can swap them for the Regen grenades. Otherwise, I'm unsure why. Maybe it's the non-solo version.
Yeah i love the braced autogun, they're the only thing close enough to being a LMG for the zel/Psyk but more of a HMG with the veterans abilities and perks.
I kind of wish we had entirely different types of weapon models like stubbers instead of slightly different models of autogun that look like they could have been made with an accessory customization system.
@@JeffHikari I too wish the same, just different marks is such a cheap way to add more weapons, they don't even differ that much from eachother so the models aren't even that worth it. But so far we can only dream, and dream i shall, until we get more fun weapons.
have you tried the veteran melee build with the bottom right tree and part of the middle tree, with the new chainsaw? I dunno why but I do way more DPS than my zealot with the eviscerator
You can tell just how scuffed current Veteran is by how much more effort our Japanese protagonist has to put to make it shine (comparatively to other classes in their other amazing showcases).

Generally solved with the Veteran's talent that adds 10% Rending to every shot or the Zealot's charge that gives you massive armor penetration for a very short time.
With the Rending talent and the one that applies brittleness this absolutely will kill crushers. If you've just started, that would explain it. Edit: I've tested it, between marking, the alt, the damage boosts when using the alt, the rending and brittleness stacks this build melts crushers.
Wow, no way do ceramic and steel plates exist specifically to stop bullets, that'd be an impressive feat of engineering-- oh wait (not to mention Carapace armor is techno space magic composite armor but like)

I do it anyway. I get bored using the same weapons over and over, and rarely have to fight players for ammo.

I just can't not use the revolver with Executioner's stance. It pierces through teammates and one shots anything in the game. I just can't.
so you did run out of ammo in the first clip!? How far did you go before die because that wasn't even half way into the map
This is my issue. The amount of ammo needed to secure kills with it is just too much. I use the Agripinaa 8 if I'm going Braced Autogun
