My dad watched the hell out of these Super Robot shows when he was a kid. This and Getter Robo were the first he showed me. Good times but the ending still feels too bittersweet..
It's kinda funny how Daitarn 3 has none of the heroes dead but has a sad ending while Zambot 3 has most of its cast dead, including two main characters but Kappei is finally respected by his peers and is now celebrated as a hero.

@@vskshop2453 Have you seen how large the Daitarn robot is? The thing stood at almost 400 feet, making it far taller than the statue of liberty! Bastard can literally step on any other real mechs like literal ants - given the chance that is.
Is it me or has anime openings like this and space runway ideon ruined my apperception of good anime by them low-key spoiling how it would turn out in the end?

Personally, this song is both cheerful and creates a feeling of grandeur between them.

If it wasn't for it's frequent appearances in SRW Daitarn 3 would have definitely fell into obscurity since it bombed in Japan from what I've heard.
