Just bought this album a couple days ago, and this song and Time and Tide have the most brutally epic breakdowns off of the entire album, But this album is still amazing, every single song is amazing. For Today FTW.

André Bourbeau in my opinion their old lyrical direction was better,because their old stuff was openly christian,they were very bold about their faith in God,now in this project they’re taking a less direct approach on their faith and they denounced the “Christian Metal” Label and they now label themselves as just “Metal” but their project is still Christian, they said this on their interview with “A Music Blog Yea”.

IDK why people think their religious views strictly determine what music they can listen to, good music/band is good music/band and this is a good band. Another example is "Impending Doom" they are deeply religious but there music is great and does have religious sentiments

After Breaker, I thought that For Today was just going to keep doing the same old same old. I pre-ordered this album all the same, because I wanted to see how it compared to their old stuff. And dear, God, could this be the next best album since Breaker?.........If it's more stuff like this then I would say yeah. Look out Phinehas, this might steal my vote for best album of the year. ;)

+Nate Sears I love ABR but I the bridges where they either go into either a waltz or the weird middle eastern sounds really kinda killed it for me. Everything else about the album was rock solid.
Makes me sad that they are leaving their out-right Christian lyrics for this stuff. Not saying there aren't Christian influences here, but I do miss the stuff from Breaker and Immortal.

All their music is the same now... Its not bad, but breaker, portraits, and ekklesia were (in my opinion) much better. They were heavier (breaker and portraits) before and ekklesia has a lot of cool Instrumentals. I still like them but i miss the old for today...

nah mattie said in an interview that he wants to deal with the issues Jesus would deal with so their content is spreading to more wider subjects. this band aint afraid to say they love God. you see that in EVERY INTERVIEW.
