I never liked mechs, the only anime where mechs made sense to me was Code Geass. Most of us got hooked because of the amazing hand on hand combat and halfway through the show we get robot fights. They shouldve used some upgrades like in cyberunk if they really wanted to add technology to it, not damn mechs.
1st episode where you'll find out that the series is a 100% NINJA STUFF, but the excitement was ruined 😭 when the MECHS came out, but if there's a season 2, I hope they remove the IRON MAN SUIT.
From a storyline point of view it isn't necessarily a bad idea: ninjas need to adapt to a modern/future time and even the idea of the ninjas fighting for Japan but feeling less like guardians and more like guard dogs/attack dogs for whoever has the bigger wallet thus their break from Japan drives intrigue. A future season where the bulky mecha suits are replaced by sleeker and more mobile nanotechnology tactical gear and mask attires that's digitally activated but hand drawn in final form could fix the mecha problem.
It should have been 13 run to top of the tower with him overtaking obstacles until he gets his revenge. Something like ninja die hard. Mechs are nice but should have been used in a plot that they are no match for ninjutsu.
Like the tech was at a decent level, but the Mechs diluted the combat too much. The story overall was kinda rushed, so the Mechs just feel random. Exosuits would have been the perfect balance
Honestly if they made the Mech fights 60fps I’d think it look pretty damn Crisp. The Old School Ninja way vs Modernization of Mechs and Technology is a pretty good concept. If ONLY the CGI fights look Sharper. (Eren vs the Warhammer in AoT is a prime example of this). Other then that Explaining Yamagi’s 2 pupils from some kind of secret organization would be interesting for S2 (as well as Jonathan either assisting or escaping the facility would also add to the mix)
Only simple minded normies have that criticism and *only* that criticism. NK’s problems go way beyond the suits. The plot holes and how rushed the plot is are far more egregious errors.
I mean... Naruto started with nine tail fox rampaging the village so it wasn't that shocking when Naruto and Sasuke became demigods by the end of the series

The first statement in the series is how it could cause tsunamis and crumble mountains with a single swipe of its tails. 3- Fights with giant monsters date as back as the Konoha crush arc with Naruto taking on Gaara's Shukaku form. It's just the usual serial escalation you see in shonen, similar to how Dragon Ball went from martial arts to a space opera. Kishimoto himself said he wanted to make Naruto more exciting. 4- Everything regarding the state of the world, the serial escalation relates to the themes of the series.
I was really hopeful that THIS was gonna be good........but I had to drop it after ep 4 it kinda felt like a drag watching it this anime is literally 98% action *with those fuc*ing mechas* the story gets damn boring🙃

If you have watched the whole season then you would know this anime is similar to Movie, Ninja Assassin. There are many points to cover that this anime covers morden aspect of ninja. Character building was never it's concept. It's hardly 12 ep anime ,as compared to Naruto what do you expect? 700+ episodes? For character development.

The mechs are sick, and the plot is simple enough to love and very colorful by taking remembrance back to the times of old and embracing a new era and time of animation. This isn’t Naruto or funimation. This is a call back to old school toonami and I love it.

the fight choreography with the robots was still good, the problem was there was no setup for the mechs and the cgi looks worse
