What are the 2 switches that are between the 2 window switches?(a circle and something else). I have a 79 that only has the 2 window switches , so I’m just curious. Thanks.
Sorry. The top silver button comes of by turn to left to loosen. There is a spring under it. Then you can spin off the black portion of the ball by again turning it to left. Hope that helps.

you did not show how to get the top shifter silver button off at start and return to position at finish
