  • Let's find out if the Ryobi 80v hp Lawn Tractor can handle tall thick grass. I do not take it easy on this tractor, it's not perfect but it is awesome! #ryobitools #diy #gardening #powertool #ryobilawntractor #ryobitractor #tractor

    Mower worked great for two weeks. I could get about 90 minutes run time on a full charge. Until one of the battery packs failed. I've been approved by Ryobi for a warranty replacement as of August 1st and was told 10-14 days. It is now September 1st. I've been getting nothing but the run around. I've had to contact customer service going on five times now. The first time I was told it would arrive by the end of the week. Didn't happen... The next time I was apologized to and was told it would be shipped out first thing in the morning and I would get an email with the tracking number. Didn't happen... The next time I was told the associate was out to lunch and was dropping the battery to be mailed out. Didn't happen... The next time I was told the associate was out of the office for the day and would be back tomorrow. The next time (today, Friday) I was told the associate was out of the office and would be back Tuesday... Mower works great, but apparently Ryobi doesn't support their products so I would highly recommend avoiding purchasing a Ryobi 80v mower.

    Brent - great videos - thanks so much! My biggest issue with both this new Ryboi tractor and the Ryobi zero-turns, is coping with hills. Very interested in knowing how the two Ryobi mowers you have compare, what the 'rated' hill capabilities are, and your thoughts on the subject. Honestly - could be a whole video just on this topic!

    Brent, thanks for sharing this info! Still waiting for the bagger before purchasing. If the bottom gets clogged, seems like the bagger would also. :^(

      It's does well on slopes for sure but it's light weight so you need to shift your weight to compensate

    I took off the brace bar on the bottom of the chute and I have not had any clogging problems since. Two bolts not hard. Not actually sure why the brace bar is there but since it had two bolts to take it off I assumed it was Ok to remove it.

    Man I want one of these so bad but Home Depot's delivery service (USp@ck) lost my order. I was told by a rep ro becareful ordering as the same thing may happen. Seems USP@ck is the Bermuda triangle for freight. So frustrating. Your videos are so good and informative. If only I could get one.

    Hi! Thank you for the review. Do you know if it’s possible to install some kind of universal bagging system on it? Or is it necessary to wait for Ryobi to release its own?

    Since the blades are attached directly to the motors what happens if you hit a stump or a large rock? Does it destroy the motor or is there something to prevent that?

    • @wrkey
      @wrkey 3 месяца назад

      I just bought one and this seems to be a problem. I've cut less than 75% of my front yard and 2 of my blades have been bent. Waiting till Monday to call Ryobi and see what is happening. No stump or rock, just thick and somewhat damp grass.

    Still deciding between the 42" ZTR and this one (42" lawn tractor). Question, will the tractor run with the deck removed. Often times I just need it to tow things around the yard for other work.

      Hi Jeff fella has ego site up on you tube for ego and I just saw it but too me ego won't stand up in run time to the Ryobi tractor, lot smaller unit and run time is 1.5 hours on ego it won't work for me at all, I need 42" - 52" deck Ryobi 3hours +run time really close to my gas craftsman 22 hp at 42" deck 3 gal fuel tank. Waiting on Ryobi putting together front end loader on it next.

    This toy is 5 grand. For 8 grand I bought a Kubota bx2350 diesel sub compact tractor with 300 hours on it 5 years ago. I put 300 hours on it and only have done fluids and filters. The electric toy won't keep up. How long can you mow grass like that before the battery is dead?

    • @james2042
      @james2042 2 месяца назад

      They're good for about 1.5-2 acres. You're also comparing new to used. I also looked up the price of bx2350s and in my area there's 2, both around 12000 dollars with 1000+ hours.
      You're obviously not the target demographic for an electric, but at least make good arguments for not liking it

      @@andrewdonohue1853 well ev mandates are always bad, government meddling is never good. as for the batteries, they do degrade, but while they dont hold charge as long I got batteries 10 years old at this point I still use.
