Synopsis
High school student Yuuichi Katagiri cherishes his close circle of friends, composed of four classmates: Yutori Kokorogi, Shiho Sawaragi, Makoto Shibe, and Tenji Mikasa. However, when the funds for the upcoming school trip are stolen, the incident causes Shiho and Makoto-who had been tasked with collecting the money-to distance themselves from the rest of their class.
Soon after, Yuuichi and his friends are deceived into meeting up and knocked unconscious by unknown assailants. After waking, the group find themselves confined in a white room with controversial figure Manabu-kun, who reveals that one of the five has gathered them together to clear their personal debt of twenty million yen. To pay off the amount, they must participate in a variety of psychological games that will test the true nature of their friendship and humanity.
Distressed and isolated from the outside world, Yuuichi and his friends need to cooperate to complete the games. But as their concealed feelings and problematic pasts begin to surface, their seemingly unbreakable bond may soon shatter into irreparable pieces.

I just realised something
When yuuichi asked manabu whether the person joining is a girl and when manabu said yes it is a very cute girl, he had his entire plan figured it out

Not necessarily his entire plan. His plan revolved around destroying the relationship between each individual on the other team. He needed to know each persons characteristics, traits and morals to make his plan work. And he didn't know that yet at the beginning. The other group couldve also let the girl fall. Him asking if the new member was a girl was just gathering a weapon that he could use IF there ended up being a white knight in the other group.

If you think Yuuichi is smart as hell just go and read the manga, this guy is a complete monster in the other games nothing compared to what we saw till now. This guy finished the white room together with Ayanokoji.

Honestly, it’s been a while that I’ve seen a genuinely well written manipulation plot. Doesn’t screams like ass-pull and matches the character’s personality fairly accurate with what they would do.

If you like the anime, I recommend very much that you read the manga. I curiously watched an episode, and I honestly think it was very bad compared to the manga. For example, while the anime is very rushed, the manga takes time to allow the reader to indulge in a character's chain of thoughts. And it also really shows the twisted mind of yuuichi much better.
Im sorry if it actually turns out to be true, but it was said the anime is a promotional
for the Tomodachi game live action.
Of course I hope otherwise. The manga is great. If the second season will be announced, it would be either a 2 cours due to the amount of the following games or it will be split in single games.
It will be difficult to make it how ever they would.

As someone who read manga and waiting for the next chapter idk. I read him like 121 chapters still absoulutely 0 idea. But i can say that yuuichi is always like this. Because they literally say he is. Value his friends or act? Still questionable.
