- Almond Croissants ~ An Elegant Sweet Pastry ~Recreating Memories from Sint Maarten
Let me show you how to make these "elegant and yet easy" sweet pastries called Almond Croissants! They are so delicious and will leave your friends impressed with your creation!
Almond Croissants
10 store bought Croissants
1 stick softened butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp lemon juice
2 eggs
1 cup almond mill
1 Tbls ap flour
Sliced almonds
Powdered Sugar
*Preheat oven to 350°
*Mix with hand mixer the butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and lemon juice until nice and fluffy. Add in almond mill and ap flour.
Slice croissants in half. Spread the almond mixture on Croissants and put the top back on. Spread more mixture on top and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
*bake for 15 to 20 minutes and the dust heavily with powdered sugar.

I make Almond croissants but didn’t put the powdered sugar on them. My husband is a diabetic. I used Splenda in the butter mixture. They were delicious 😋 we both enjoy your channel. ❤

I have found that I'm more apt to exercise if I'm wearing leggings or yoga pants, so I ordered and just received the ones you suggested. I also ordered and received the green top and a blue one also. I have such a hard time finding a mascara that I can wear without it making my eyes water. I think it's whatever they use to make it waterproof, so I was thrilled to hear that your favorite mascara isn't waterproof. I bought some and can't wait to try it. Thank you for doing the videos sharing the products you like. It doesn't have to be an Amazon haul....just anything you like. Caroline needs to do the same as you shared her laundry detergent and fabric softener likes.

You should use almond paste. That’s what the French use en making almond croissants. Very good.
I forgot to say, the almond paste is used to make a filling for inside the croissant. Almond paste is what really gives it the taste of a true almond croissant When you bite into it.

Why no almond extract? It can be strong so it’s necessary to add half as much you would of the vanilla.
It really doesn't need any extract with as much of actual almonds I use

If you like fried green tomatoes, you will love fried cucumbers!!! I couldn't tell the difference 😃 And they're cheaper. Please try them,if you haven't already.
I’ve never had fried green tomatoes but I will try the fried cucumbers, I will look for a recipe.
