We have booked two Haven cruises, one on Prima and one on Viva. Our experiences with Royal Caribbean's Star Suite have set the bar pretty high. Hoping NCL can raise that bar! Great video.
While that looks great the price difference for us is hard to justify, we tend to book a spa balcony we love the thermal suite best in the industry, and get extra specially dining beyond what we get as part of our free at sea. We love th NCL Bliss our favorite ship, we are booked on a 15 night panama canal cruise so excited.
I definitely understand that! Haven can get super pricy and I can definitely see why people do not wish to spend that much. We have never done Panama Canal cruise so we hope you guys have lots of fun!!
Great video!! Just wondering if the Haven on the Joy has a steam room? We did the Haven on the Getaway and there was a steam room going inside the stairwell to get to the sun deck.
Tips for butler? Did you have one? Never saw one in the video. In another video I heard if your butler brings meals to your room there is a room service fee.
Yep, we had a butler (every suite and Haven rooms come with a butler) but we actually never had him bring meals to the room so not sure about room service fee (tho I do think this is prolly waived with butler bringing food). Good news tho, we will be cruising in the Haven on the Norwegian Prima very soon so stay tuned for those videos. In the meantime, any other questions you have, please do ask and I will try to answer to the best of my ability (as my Haven knowledge is outdated by 2 yrs)
I'm trying to remember this as this was 2 years ago but I recall there were snacks (same ones shown in this video) in the Horizon Lounge when the Haven Restaurant wasn't open
They are complimentary for Haven guests. Apparently there’s been a recent rule change in which a Haven guest can bring in non-Haven guest to dine inside the Haven restaurant for 39.99 or maybe it was $49.99. I’m not sure if this is currently implemented on the Bliss
It’s free for Haven guests. If it’s like you and your group are in Haven while you have friends or family not in Haven, that’s when I don’t believe the hostess will let your entire party in if your friends (in this case) decided to join you for a meal at the Haven restaurant
In my own personal opinion wherever any one decide to spend their vacation time is only worth it if it met all your expectations. And if while being there brought you joy and happiness and your pockets did not get entirely empty. Lol. The cruise 🛳 inside setup look comfortable and food look delicious. But I personal would not feel comfortable surrounded in the ocean by nothing but water far from land, but it do not mean that you can't enjoy yourself in that kind of environment it's depend upon the individual.
Hi Peggy, how are you? Actually, Lisa felt uncomfortable at first as she was surrounded by water and no land in sight. She also thought looking at the ocean from our balcony can be a bit more overwhelming. It definitely took her a bit to get used to being in the middle of the ocean. I think the woman may have lost her mind! Under no circumstances do you have your very first cruise in the Haven. You will never be able to fairly compare any mainstream cruise.

I was thinking that, too! Heck, I've been on four NCL cruises and have been totally satisfied with each cabin and cruise. The first couple were in "outside" rooms. For the third we upgraded to "balcony," and now my partner will never go back to "just" outside. I've put in a bid to upgrade to Haven on our upcoming cruise. I'm afraid that if we get it, a non-Haven room will always seem disappointing after that!
