May 20 2023 - Shimogoryo Jinja Kankosai - Yoimiya (Children's Floats)

The first evening of the Kanko-sai festival features children representing the Shimogoryo Shrine carry portable shrines and lanterns on five floats up the streets and then back. It took place on May 20 2023 from about 7:00 pm to 7:40 pm or so. This poorly recorded video (using a Google Pixel 5 because that's all I had on hand) shows the last couple minutes of the children's parade, and features the fourth and fifth floats returning to the starting area and being hoisted and bounced around, before being put down on the ground.
