The John Wick game looks amazing, the way it captures not only the vibe of the movies but the combat and camera movement is choreographed exactly like the movies is incredible
Knowing keanu, he definitely did the motion capture for this. Its literally 1 to 1 how he moves and keanu wouldnt shy away from doing mocap.

its an in-game animation, not really gameplay. It would be like if in a doom eternal trailer they showed a cinematic and then some glory kill animations.

Yep that’s the way to do it imo. Sleeping Dogs combat was super fun, as it was like the Arkham games, but with more combos you could do. You could also interact with the environment as well, which was fun asf. If they go the Sifu route though, a lot of us casual gamers might pass

About 5 years apart feels like a solid development time, plus maybe a year or so of pre production as they’re finishing up Bridge of Spirits. With a bigger budget Sony backed budget it should be another great game.

Charlie isn't wrong about Galactic Racer being very Burnout-esque. It is being developed by former Burnout and Need for Speed devs so the connections more than strong. The game is very Burnout hardcoded and looking very polished as opposed to another set of devs who tried to make their own Burnout clone... and sadly failed to pull it off.
I'm a huge Remedy fan but to be honest Control Resonant looks a little sluggish or something I can't put my finger on it

Really there should be 2-3 years between Pokémon games with like 10x the budget, and smaller DLCs for each games between each big release. Or one big unified explorable map with all of the regions and regularly sees updates. A third great option would be something along the lines of Elder Scrolls of significantly more intricate individual regions.

Hard disagree. Just look at Resident Evil. Remakes aren’t about giving the same game with fancy new graphics they’re about experiencing a familiar story under a new light. Giving them the Norse play style is the only way they’ll even be considered an actual Remake unless they’re planning to make big story changes.
This hurts my soul as an OG God of War fan. Nothing sounds more unappealing than them changing the iconic fun gameplay of those games to what it is now.
