Thanx for the tutorials! I'm a middle-aged Brazilian lawyer who does not play PC games since Wolfenstein 3D, but was challenged by gamer friends to play PoE2. I'm now a 70lvl titan with avatar of fire, giant's blood, and igniting Hammer of the God's as main focus. Could you help me define the ideal equipment I must search?
still holding off on rerolling one of t1 stats on my +5 lightning wand 7 divine expensive and i 1 shot most things anyway at this point my focus is to get +rare drops on most of my gear sacrificing some dps. Also remember guys at high level buy item that reduces xp loss on death by 75% half a divine is worth it( also make sure its “activated” in inventory)
So, given these prices, am I correct to assume that all the decent items (like your staff, but toned down a bit) are just people finding/buying T9-10 damage prefixes and slamming exalts? There's a lot of good gear that would lead me to believe crafting is alive and well, but these high-end crafting items are way outside the price range of gear I've been looking at.
I dont know if its true or not, but i’heard that increased elemental damage on weapons isnt a global multiplier and it only scales the elemental damage rolls on that weapon. Can somebody confirm this?
@@fronix5060 The crafting fundamentals of PoE2 are not simpler than those of PoE1. You are just neutered, with a lot less agency. In a way that makes it harder to get into. There is nothing complicated about essence spamming a base.

poe2DB --> click modifiers on top --> helmet --> armor type (str/dex) --> see tiers. There ya go!
7 div per omen sounds like I'm better off just buying cheap gear with 2/3 good mods cheaply and exalt slamming :/
Yeah I feel like you would only do this if you have like an absolutely godlike piece of gear but it has one modifier on it that you don't want
Yeah this is for turning gear that's already great into super great imo

FYI they do have all the info on modifiers for gear, click on the modifiers dropdown at the top on poe 2 db and it'll be there
super helpful vid. There are a bunch of vids about strong builds, but not much about decision making with items etc

Dex is actually really good, considering that stat stacking builds are meta right now.

Crafting is poop in POE2 vs POE1
tbh crafting is poop in both, still both good games but i hope there will be a bit more for crafting to come in PoE2
It's simplified because poe1 required a PhD to just understand where to begin, not that friendly for new players.
