Why are you not recommending agencies that also provide skilled care? As a nurse a great deal of our profits stems from skilled nursing. We employ both LPNs and RNs especially for peds.. Furthermore being in an area of higher income many clients request a nurse even when a HHA would suffice.. Don’t limit your profit.

I am trying to get clients that are already getting care giver service from Health and Welfare. Once I get clients that are covered by medicare, how do I get the government to pay me first? Once I get a client, I would have to hire a care taker for clients and where would I get the money for that?

@@Serenity5812 I hate to say this but I can only go by experience and I never got paid. I literally have a VIP right now in the same situation for months and haven’t gotten paid. The major medical insurance companies follow the guidelines of Medicare. Medicare doesn’t pay, they will keep telling you to bill; however it’s a waste of time.

Traditional Medicare doesn’t cover the services offered under non skilled home care.

Based on my experience Humana doesn’t pay for home care in Ga. Especially if their primary is Medicare.
