One of the most amazing scenes and dialogue ever done on GH. They were my first favorite couple, and with JJ coming back, I am ecstatic. I hope and pray that they reunite CLASSIC LnL2!!! Any Classic LnL2 or LnL2 fans who want to see their story fixed and their beautiful love restored, call abc!!!
These two WILL be reunited! Their chemistry is undeniable. Notice how both of them always come back to their church? Liz came here when Lucky found out about Nikolas and now Lucky has been drugged, will only trust Liz and has found his way back to their church...where no doubt Liz will find and save him for a change. JJ is such an amazing actor... he makes me cry all the time.
I forgot they were one of the biggest supercouples and i went back watching from the dance to forward and that damn Lucky had me 😭😭😭 all night long. The others were good but nothing like the original!
(Cont'd) And Liz didn't feel the NEED to "experiment", because she had found her soulmate in Lucky. She didn't feel obligated to him as the writers are trying to imply now. She really and truly loved him. There was never any hint back then that Liz's love for Lucky was false, or that she in any way felt she was missing out on anything by being with him. Liz was with Lucky because she wanted to be. He never pressured her or implied she owed him.
I will never get over my bitterness that JJ was not playing Lucky when Lucky and Liz actually did get married...this was so much like a wedding that I felt we were robbed. Thank God, he's back cuz I want a reunion ASAP. The writers must fix this garbage that they've created.
Watching this again breaks my heart even more that Lucky actually said "I was never the one" to Luke on Friday. You were the one Lucky. You are the one. Liz just needs to have her breakdown and get it over with.
Maybe , just maybe, JJ will come back SOMEDAY and they can be more of the people they once were and make fresh start and get married with THESE vows and be a family!!!! Maybe?
I have lost hope for real and pure romance on GH these past few years. The writers have messed with the LL2 pairing, and it disgust me. With Jonathan coming back, I want to see these two as adults together on screen again.They have not had a relationship since classic LL2 as pure and innocent as these two were together. I've missed that so much.
@lucyxyz Yes, facts ARE facts. And the FACT is that Liz and Jason's affair was going on BEFORE Lucky's with Sam. That is why Sam was so angry and going after Lucky in the first place. Because she wanted revenge because Jason had chosen Liz over her. And obviously I was not literally saying that you "can't" act that way. I was saying that it doesn't make SENSE to act that way. Could you drop the attitude, please? This isn't a personal attack, just a difference of interpretation.
@OceanLily - This Liz WAS more than the girl Lucky saved. Contrary to what the current writers would have you believe, post-rape Liz didn't spend all of her time worshipping at Lucky's shrine. She was her own person, a young girl with dreams of becoming an artist, someone who got through her rape with courage and dignity, someone who selflessly helped her friends, Lucky when he needed her after finding out Luke raped Laura, and Emily when she was being blackmailed. She was NOT a pathetic damsel.
Is there any way to erase the fact that she said these vows with GV? Because it's a raging crime that when we finally get our "real" LL2 wedding they won't be able to repeat these.

We can rule the ONS out because that was just a reaction to seeing Lucky with Maxie, but that still doesn't change the fact that she and Lucky later got back together and she KEPT sneaking around with Jason behind his back. That absolutely counts, IMO. And once we're at the point of cheating 3 times vs. cheating twice, there's not really much difference. You can't act like one is heinous and the other is no big deal.

He cheated with Sarah, Maxie (while they were married and in HER bed) and with Sam, again, WHILE they were married and had agreed to try to make it work. Lucky ruined their relationship. That's on him. He screwed her sister, then Summer, then Maxie, then Sam. Why it only seems that Liz's crimes are brought up is the joke. Lucky did this, nobody else, all the rewrites in history won't change what really happened. Their breakup is because she finally couldn't stand him. He killed something inside with his whoring, so she paid him back in kind.

OMG I really hated the Liz of 2008-2010 but now after seeing this...I can see her side. The rape and after totally stunted her growth as a teen/adult. She didn't really do the whole experimenting thing when she was younger and thought if you switched lover or boyfriends you were a slut(..Carley. Sam). Maybe after all the drama she can finally deal with everything and not just gloss over what happened to her and be MORE THEN THE GIRL LUCKY SAVED...just Liz..Adult LIZ
