Was it legal for the government to do this to me? Could IJ adjust status ?
I came to the usa at the port of otay mesa. I had a valid B2 visa. I asked the border guard right away for an asylum. After 2 days in the border, they sent me to detention for 3 months. The visa was cancelled in accordance with the law 22 CFR 41.122.
At the Master Hearing the judge accused me of entering the US without a visa (although I had the visa). But I told her I had a visa. The judge postponed another master hiring to find out the visa situation. Is it right and according to the law the border guards acted? Is there any chance that if I was not treated according to the law to win the case and get adjustment of status?

The problem with pending asylum cases is that it will be very difficult to get a job. Cuz they will run a background check and they find out that its confidential. There for they will not hire you even though you have a work permit. Any suggestions!!

I don't think so. It's for a humanitarian reason like a refugee and your immigration info are only within the federal government.
