Sounds great, I think you’ll enjoy the D3s. I have five a Nikon speed lights in my kit bag and regular use three or four at a time with the D3s. I’m using three on this glass shoot ruclips.net/video/GbZBn1EU6jY/видео.html (the video is quite old so apologies!). Thanks for commenting and good luck with the Nikon 👍🏻
Nikon D3s 12mp only but each pixel is physically larger. This would allow the pixels to catch and hold more light without letting it blur into other pixels and cause noise. More MP mean more noise.
Yes Michael, you’re right, there’s a big difference. What I was hoping to show in the video was that if you’re really struggling for cash, living near the bread line, and thought photography was completely out of reach, then there is an option that may not be so bad. The D3s image are superior of course, but for me, not as far away as the price difference might suggest. I’d love to think we inspire some beginners to pick up a camera and enjoy photography. Thanks for watching and commenting , it’s much appreciated 👏📷😊
10 out of 12 is impressive, and you’re right, some great second hand cameras out there, decent quality photos for the price of pie and a pint. What’s not to like 🥧🍺📷
Thanks for you kind comments 😊 I never shoot in BW mode in camera. I always shoot colour and de-saturate in post. I use Photoshop, if you’d like to see how easy that is, check out some of the videos on my channel called ‘the joy of photography’ . I talk through the editing process in Photoshop. Choose one of the landscapes with a BW thumbnail and I talk through editing that exact photo. Thanks for watching 👏📷😊
Oh no, sorry to hear that. Here are some ideas. The ST66 uses a micro usb lead to connect the camera to the computer. If the computer will not see the camera, then maybe there is a problem with the lead? First thing to try is a different lead. The ST66 does have an advantage here though, because it records to a micro SD card. So take the card from the camera, and use a cheap to buy card reader to connect to your computer. If your mobile phone has a micro SD slot, you can even put it in there and have the ability to mail the photos out from your phone. I hope this will help you get the images downloaded, let us know how you got on .
Hi Marcello, You’re right, that’s down to the limitations of the screen, and once you start any enlargement or printing the Samsung image will fall apart, but if you don’t have much spare cash, and are only viewing on screen, then you can still enjoy getting into photography, even with a cheap second hand unit like the Samsung. Thanks for watching and taking the time to add a comment , it’s much appreciated 👏📷😊
Haha, I love this comment, caught out by my own words. Brilliant 👍🏻 . That is my favourite ever comment! On a serious note, and to answer your question, I made the film firstly for a bit of fun, but had in mind the many many people who just don’t have the kind of spare cash you need to buy even a used DSLR. I know the enjoyment photography has bought to my life and wanted to say, if money is an issue, then there are still cameras out there on EBay for £5 that will take an ok picture in certain conditions. I want to welcome everybody, every ability and every budget 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 thanks for your great comments Maciej, that really made me chuckle 😂 and thanks for watching
I just bought a D3s .. I'm looking forward to working it with some off camera speedlights. I also shoot on the Fuji X-T2 as well.

I am spot on spot on all of them. It would make a huge difference, especially on portraits.
