This video was extremely needed. Immediate sub. Just one query - How to condition a roasted satin finish maple fretboard ? I think oil is a no go for this so what to use ?

Good question! If it’s a finished fretboard, I would use the guitar detail spray! I’m glad you found it helpful :)

Ibanez RG 1420 10th anniversary of the Prestige model. Only 120 were made of each color. Pretty rare guitar.

When you wore that hat you had an awesome hairstyle you wore with it!
    A great look!!!
Your hair is fun now, too.
Just different and does not look good with that hat!
I dare you to put a picture of it on here!

It would be sick if you did more of those mini-dives on theory or technique like you did for post almond clarity. Also. Gotta order schmoo cleaner

I will! I enjoy that style of video a lot, and it’s SO much easier to make than this. 😂 this video has been filmed over the entire course of my move to Florida in little pieces. Finally just edited it together haha

Nice video, Jared. While I don't necessarily care about the cosmetic condition of the guitar body, the fretboard and string feel is a top priority for me.
I personally prefer using steel wool on my fretboards and I just tape off my pickups with low tack/painters tape to prevent steel wool shavings from accumulating. I have also seen people wrap a magnet in a cloth and put it in the steel wool while polishing to magnetize it and hold all the shavings - I haven't tried it though.
For anyone that may be interested in trying steel wool, make sure it's 0000 super fine grit steel wool

For sure, these are definitely the best practices for steel wool - and I have used steel wool, don’t get me wrong! But I feel like it does a different job. If you just want to clean gunk and oxidization, the FRINE system is just so easy. 😋
