2:10 "You don't need to say sorry. It's okay." They warned you and you disregarded them, dismissing the bear as something trivial. When you get a trigger warning for an SCP, you better listen up.
The most eff'd up detail of 1048-B, in my personal opinion, is that the damage it caused to that one female staff member in the cafeteria is heavily implied to be the result of it trying (and failing) to *literally unbirth itself.* It's almost as if the aborted fetus *knew* that it wasn't finished yet, that it had been cruelly ripped from their mother's body at least one month prematurely, and so it attempted to return to the comforting embrace of the nearest womb they could find.
Huh, I kinda thought it just made her pregnant too fast which caused the damage to her womb. I'm not sure which is worse if I'm going to be honest they're both really bad.
Alicia one thing you need to remember is that Keter does not mean how dangerous the SCP is. Keter class refers to how hard it is to contain and keep it secret. In this case, it is incredibly hard to hold these bears in containment and they are incredibly dangerous to the Masquerade that the SCP foundation keeps up to hide the anomalous
Yeah it's a common misconception. Doesn't help that Safe SCPs are opposite of this despite the name, and simply are "Safe" to leave in locked box and forget about. I'm almost surprised people are still making this mistake in 2024. I feel like I have been hearing peeps clarify it for a decade now.
A good example of a not-dangerous keter is Mr. Lost (no, I don't know the number, just google "scp Mr lost"). He's just a guy that is constantly lost, can't be tracked, and anyone who travels with him also gets lost. Not dangerous at all, just EXTREMELY difficult to maintain.
The reason people assume Keter = Dangerous is because most Keters are difficult BECAUSE they're extremely dangerous in most cases. It ends up making people view Keter as the "This is going to end the world/humanity" classification by default.
Alicia doubted chat when they tried to say sorry in advance. She even joked about going to get her own teddy bear. Little did she realize that she would never look at that stuffed toy the same way again.
Chat: "We're sorry Alicia" Alicia: "You don't have to apologize! I mean you do for the Aristocrats SCP cause that was fucked up but." The SCP: "Oh no. They know what they're doing."
You know what's even more fun? In a different video about this, the thing that 1048-B did to the researcher that caused massive internal damage? Turns out, it tried to forcibly enter her uterus. You're welcome.
An scp being keter class doesn't necessarily mean it's dangerous (however most are) it just means it's difficult to contain Some safe class SCPs are quite dangerous but all are easily contained
The Alarm clock that gets twice as loud every few minutes could destroy the universe in mere hours, but its easily contained with a robot arm that presses the snooze button anytime it rings.
