The good news is that she has a loyal leader and a loyal tech expert. Just need a loyal biotic expert and theoretically we could get through the suicide mission without losing anyone... I think.

Mordin is in a RIDICULOUS amount of danger rn, lol The only way I see him surviving is if she does his loyalty mission and either brings him to the final battle or sends him back with the crew He's literally the FIRST on the hold the line death list, ugh
We need to get the entire Mass Effect fandom to start calling Tali "Tail Eye" just to mess with all the folks at Bioware and {The company until so recently named EA}
I was both sad and happy to learn this was not a months old series. I’m glad this is still going but I’m sad it isn’t already finished and I can binge it because I know you’re currently doing Dragon Age once you finish ME2 and I just really want to see ME3!!!
Drake your production value is going up with every vid. I love the soundtrack changes in every scene. Th his series and your new DA one are so much fun. Keep going man! Love it ✨
So, she’s already grabbed the IFF with lots of loyalty missions left to do. So people are gonna die. Either squad members because they aren’t loyal or the crew because she puts off attacking the base to do loyalty missions first. Or both if she decides to do some loyalty missions but not all, delaying the SM just enough to condemn the crew to death but not enough to make every member loyal. It’s gonna be a bloodbath.
Especially since Jacob, such a seemingly good guy, gives that as advice, if only every advice he gave wasn't the worst possible option There HAS to be people who completely trusted Jacob the first playthrough and lost a TON of people
@@DeitySkullKid but, does Jane TRUST Jacob? i feel like, if in front of the IFF mission, Drake added the line "Jacob suggests we do this", Jane would leave it for last xD
@@Shadow.24772 Jane did roast him pretty hard wasn't it like "He has no skills, Has is just normal"? And more. Wouldn't be surprised if she completely disregarded him
I LOVE that phrasing. "He can handle ANY situation with his sniper rifle and tech abilities" Me3 rolls around and Garrus is gonna be sniping the Sovereign vlass reapers out of the sky, lol
I can't wait to see what insanity comes next! Only one or two missions before crew abduction time. So far there's only one loyal tech expert (Kasumi), 2 fire team leaders (Garrus and Miranda) but no biotic specialist. There's a strong possibility Garrus is a goner if Jane picks him to tag along through the seeker swarm. Hopefully she chooses him as squad leader instead!
If it helps there is a mod out there that allows the player to choose when to test the IFF rather than its automatic activation after 3 missions (which if I'm being honest was an asinine developer decision especially for first playthroughs when you don't know that and the game never tells you). I am unsure of if the mod has been ported over to the legendary edition though.
I hated how Bioware decided to force the aftermath of the IFF on you. Some in-game files suggested it was voluntary at one point. Legion gets massively screwed in this way too. I'm glad the save editor exists to work around it.
Gotta love Garrus and Jane interactions lmaooo Also I really hope she does more loyalty missions, not Jacob's 'cause who cares? But the problem is if she does... the Normandy's crew will die
Honestly, I'm thrilled Jane went for the IFF so soon. We've all seen plenty of playthroughs where everything was done perfectly to ensure everyone survived. The purpose of the AI making the decisions means seeing outcomes we wouldn't normally see. That's what makes this series so special; it's not just a rehash of the exact same results we've gotten used to.
I'm late to the party, but I've played these games several times and have always been a huge fan of Garrus. This video made me realize one of the reasons. He talks like a slightly dorkier Mr. Fox as from The Fantastic Mr. Fox.
I am just scared that she will pick the right squadmates at every turn during the suicide mission (that she will obviously go into way too early because she will want to save everyone). What I think about first is that she will probably kill Tali by not doing her loyalty and picking her for the door. While I am curious as to Jane’s reaction I also do not want a bloodbath. Especially as that will screw everything up in me3.
I mean, seeing what she picks is the fun of the playthrough, ahe already got Wrex killed so the Krogan are half screwed (there's still Eve if Jane saves Maelon's data)
Oh boy, with a title like that, I get the feeling Jane may have heard at least one thing Jacob said, and it was his horrible advice from the last part! Dang it Jacob, lives are gonna be lost on the Suicide Mission, and it's your fault for suggestng going after the Reaper IFF too soon!
as was expected, we're gonna get to see mass effect 3 completed with like, 4000 total war assets. might even get to see salarian councillor actually get murked by edgelord lang cause kirrahe and thane will both be dead lmfao
Oh boy so the timer for the crew starts running 😮 i wonder how many squad mates will be alive at the end 😅, but i honestly think not that much 😂. I am looking forward to how this will play out and what consequences it will have on ME3
Maybe you can get Jane to do loyalty missions by hinting that the squad mates want to talk to Jane because they feel their performance is affected by whats going on and want her help.
I give her the information she has received. i.e. "Tali is distressed over a call she received and has requested to speak to you" She has shown she is willing to do them, but she clearly sees main missions as priority.
I have such a very BAD feeling about this. At this rate it is just about guaranteed that we will have ay least a few companion deaths during the suicide mission. It's going to be terrible.
I just played this a month or so ago, I ALSO had my sniper in hand (on Xbox one) in that cutscenes, I didn't run past anything, and killed everything, so that's just a glitch that can happen I think
At this point im hoping jane lets the ship crew wait and does a few more loyalty missions, because, at LEAST mordins REALLY matters, especially because she loves the Krogan. Actually, wait, Tali's and Legions ALSO matter because of the war I think Jane is gonna have a SAD ME3 run
Personally, Jane has all the pieces she needs to get through all the loyalty checks at least- Wait, doesnt jacobs armor for the ship require loyalty? We might already lose someone, oh no
I don't think so. You can get all available companion upgrades just by recruiting them and talking to them, if I recall. He did say he'd do all of that sort of stuff off screen so chances are he's already done those... hopefully 😕
Thank you, the only reason I was worried is because I remember Jacob NOT having the ship upgrade until I did the loyalty mission on this last playthrough, but maybe I mixed it up with someone else's (One of the non-vital upgrades)
Actually, I'm going to put some thought into this. She'll probably be able to do two or three loyalty missions before the Collector attack. Let's say she does loyalty missions for ... Tali, Grunt and Thane (because Tali's a dear friend from the first game, Grunt's her son, and she's deeply impressed by Thane). She's very goal focussed, so I think she'll go straight to rescue the crew. Assuming all ship upgrades, everyone makes it to the base. I'm guessing she takes Garrus in her squad at every stage. Probably Miranda as fire team leader both times. Jacob's going into the vents (RIP Jacob). Samara as the biotic and Grunt with her, which could be a devastating loss of Garrus (RIP Garrus). Might send Tali back with the crew. Let's say she takes Grunt and Miranda for the final battle, resulting in the deaths of Mordin and Kasumi (RIP Mordin and Kasumi). Let's see how wrong I am!
Oh damn...We either losing a lotta companions or crew up to Chakwas (I mean...Is the crew really that important?) I mean some of the companions losing I don't mind such as: Jacob(He's dead anyway), Zaeed(I love him but he's got such little importance), Grunt(this is only because I dunno if Wrex being dead screws Grunt over. I've never purposefully killed Wrex to see how that works out), Samara(again she isn't too plot important). Tali, Jack, Legion, Thane and Mordin are too plot important. Jack could maybe be pushed to the side but TBH Jack grows so much in ME3. Also what happens if you finish ME2 but still have like the DLC to do like Overlord and Arrival? I'm assuming your doing Arrival anyway as it makes more sense in ME3 but if Jane doesn't pick Overlord before then do you just skip it? I hope not poor David needs saving. Either way we are super screwed. I feel bad for Jane. She has no idea.
Since mods are already being used, why not separate the IFF sequence into getting it and activating it? By that I mean unchecking the "IFF Acquired" flag in a save editor and presenting checking it back on as a new "Activate IFF (potentially dangerous!)" option. That's how it really should've been from the start, how I'd recommend anyone play ME2, even on first time, and how I've played it since forever ago. It could avoid a bloodshed and make ME3 much more interesting, not to mention how much more of ME2 could be seen.
Do you still use Bing AI for Shepard? And if so, what sort of prompt do you give her to keep her from using meta-knowledge in her decisions? I tried this concept myself but any time I tried to tell her not to use info beyond where I was in-game, the AI would cut the topic there and force me to restart
12:04 Hey, it's The Hero of Canton...I mean Haestrom. As everyone should be. Quarains and Krogans are the best after all.
