To buffer the coco peat, a bunker (wash bay) system is a simple solution. Depending on the size of your wash bay, you can perform it in batches of 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, or 150 cubic metres.
The first step is to totally hydrate or expand the coco peat. Leave the coco peat to expand until there is no more water drainage.
The next step is to combine 7 kg of calcium nitrate with 1,000 litres of water.
