Respect you guys still playing this game after almost 2 decades, I played Q4 in 2005-2014 , Started as a 6 years old kid , now am 22. So much nostalgia when i hear these noises, these jumps, weapon shoots and everything
this is so surreal to watch, I've only played through Quake 4's SP (4-5 times) without touching the MP, and this looks like a mod for Quake 3 (which I played a TON of as a kid)
the single player follows a storyline where he goes from human to strogg ...so it was done that way intentionally... i like it from a creative-storytelling pov.
@@Murda1Gaming I was probably 6 watching my older brother play that campaign. It freaked me out so bad on that transformation scene lol but being 25 now all I play is quake3cpma and reflex. Even got my 4y/o hopping around in it. Time flies! Ill probably pickup q4 soon and do my first playthrough and duels
@@dev_vg nice man good to hear. I reinstalled reflex recently but cant get the mouse to not feel like trash so havent played it much. Might need to watch a tutorial on how to set it up.
Man only if Nightdive Studios made a Remaster of this Game And Quake 2 it would maybe bring back some interest to newer audience and appreciate the good job that Raven Software did back then for an underrated franchise like Quake and yes many people still have Forgotten that Enemy Territory Quake Wars exists
@@Murda1Gaming unfortunately Quake 2s 25th Anniversary was back in late 2022 and not a single remaster has happened for it unlike what they did for quake 1 back in 2021,we really should make a petition for Nightdive Studios to make a Quake Package called as Quake:The Strogg Franchise that includes Quake 2,Quake 4 and Ofc Enemy Territory:Quake Wars,which yeah unlikely it will happen only if we Contact Nightdive studios themselves….
yea thats definitely one of the best features from quake 4! There is a small community that plays almost every during the evenings in NA thats how I usually finds games.
Hi Foxtrot. Yes this is the vanilla game shown in this video. There is a small group of players that plays usually in the evening time on NA. Small group but you can usually catch them on almost everyday.

thanks for the sub Артур Давыдов! This is the vanilla multiplayer game on patch 1.42 so as long as you have that patch it should be good to play. Also we are playing on a NA server here so ping might be an issue.
Hello Ryder..you just have to buy the game or i think its on Microsoft game pass as well and install patch 1.42 ...you can download the patch from mobb(dot)com ..and thats all you need to do.
@@Murda1Gaming i did download and patched the 1.4.2 to the game and then I played the multiplayer but when i played the normal story mode the graphics were looking to old ,all textures were gone (this happened after installing patch 1.4.2) any solution for this problem ?

yea its pretty similar to quake 3 with a few added twists. Fun times.

does 1.4.2 patch came with FOV adjustment like this ?
the default fov is 90 ....you just have to open the console with the "~" button and type g_fov 110 (or whatever fov you want) and it will adjust it
how about quake champions?
played it a little bit ..just not a fan of it personally. Too much imbalance for me to enjoy.

Why does the game look like this? I remember Quake 4. It looked way better than this.
Doesnt have a demo feature in the base game so I play on lower graphics while record in OBS at the same time. Helps on fps.

theres a server called "quake 4 funhouse" that has ppl that play everyday usually in the evenings in NA these games are from that server.
