Only when I've warmed up and am feeling the words. Did it twice in a row and now my voice is dead
I HIT THE HIGH NOTE i'm practicing while home alone in my basement. it makes my dog start howling but other than that i'm doing alright lol I recommend anyone doing this live make sure to hold the mic away from your face because if you're really hitting it it gets loud
Sadly I don't think I'll ever be able to do the hight note in chest voice

Samantha Sings How can you know if you never tried? At least try it out. That's like saying you can't do a math problem and you haven't even tried to solve it, not once.
I've tried singing that high in chest voice and I couldn't do it, I've just never tried singing it in the context of the actual song.

You sing with your heart. I thought of my heart breaks and even though at a few parts I sounded like a dying cow, I hit the high notes because of the pain I was put through. I sang it in tears, but I still sang it :) Loud and proud

One. One run through with all I have and that's it. That's all my voice can handle.
The high note is an e5. If you have a hard time hit e in lower octave and practice raising by 5ths

She actually sings it in her mixed! You can belt in your mix voice and it sounds really good with practice! It's also a lot easier if you do it right! She is really amazing isn't she?
i had to do the high note so many times to get it right. you need a lot of air and keep the air going while doing it

@ilikcatz I agree with you completely! This song is not to be sung using head voice. It doesn't sound good operatic. That's why it's so hard to sing! Using chest voice to sing this is extremely difficult and I'm one who sings mostly using my chest voice. I hear covers on here done using head voice and I'm thinking..."Man, you made the song sound weak" so I agree with you.This song needs to sound grounded! Maybe you'd like to hear some of my covers on my channel. I've done a lot of Paramore :)

Y’all, please don’t attempt to belt this song. You will hurt yourselves. Please learn mixed voice technique as it’s quite possibly the only healthy way to approach this song.

I don't care what you say but This song is NOT easy at all. Sure, it's easy... With head voice. The trick is to not use head voice. That's what makes the song. This is one of those songs you just don't use head voice in.... At all.

hayley can definitely sing this song. it's just that it takes a few hours of vocal warmup and she never sings this live because she's afraid of messing up.

Peggy honyben-beckett then try sounding louder if you can't go higher I do both but I would rather do higher Lauder makes it a easy alternative
