  • Agero review: "...Agero denied the claim and chose to ignore Good Year's decision about the faulty jump start. They say they reached out to the tow company and they denied their driver did anything wrong....what a surprise! The second experience was when I locked my keys in my car and called my insurance company who called 777 Towing. The guy came, got me in my car and left. When I got home, I realized my inside lock was now damaged. Called insurance company, and they also deal with Agero. Sent them the required info and after 2 weeks..."

Don't add towing and roadside to your insurance policy. Insurance carriers sell towing as an upsell product. it's a way to squeeze more profit out of you. When you use it, they treat it as a claim against your insurance. This means your rates can rise upon renewal. Even worse, towing claims can be added to what's called a CLUE report. A CLUE report determines your risk worthiness. It can affect your future rates when shopping for insurance. Get AAA instead.

This is the bullshit type of false claims that make our premiums sky rocket every year.
Reverse the cables, 1 the car isn’t gonna start 2 there will be sparks like the 4th of July. I don’t contract with agero because even if they denied the customer claim, they still debit the companies account for that claim. My biggest tools are body cams and dash cams.

Insurance companies will use whatever is the closest to you (and the cheapest). Agero does have agreements with most major carriers.

Tow providers that are subcontracting for Agero are only profiting $25-$40 per call. The only way to remain solvent working for Agero is to hammer out 10+ calls per day. It’s not practical to expect someone whom is in a constant rush to perform his/her job properly. It’s mad dash for cash, and mistakes are abound! Solution? Shun Agero, AAA and all other “motor clubs” or RSA plans. Everyone with a vehicle should know a towing company the same way everyone with hair should have a barber.

No this sounds to suspect. Goodyear doesn’t expert mechanics ( not all of them ). But regardless you had battery issue. That could mean anything most Dodge Chrysler Jeep vehicles are known for computer malfunctions.
If you can’t prove it 100%. Then you have to eat the claim.
If the lock broke and it’s a know issue then contact the manufacturer to see if it’s covered on manufacture defect. Show them the multiple complaints on same issue.

The car would not start if the polarity was reversed. Furthermore, you can't definitively prove that the car didn't already have the check engine light on beforehand, after all it was your fiance's car.

      Hahaha. You said it.
I am a dispatcher for agero, best call center I've ever worked at.

Dude if you rev polarity the car would never start, other than you could wind up with a battery explosion or fire, but the engine sure wouldn't start. That is just ignorant at best. Dispatcher for agero and mechanic/salvager.
Sounds like you have a problem with having this little thing called "proof" that is required to substantiate your "claim".
Agero takes calls for hundreds of companies not just roadside even but like kia and toyota consumer affairs. I'm a dispatcher for StateFarm and USAA, best call center I ever worked at, sorry you had a bad experience.
With all that said best regards to you and hope you have a happy marriage (assuming you got married or will).

Listen , the dealership and Goodyear is trying to make money from you !!
    service guy is on commission
No way the tower crossed the cables , lights go crazy on dashboard when you have a shitty battery that needs to be replaced. Simple as that
All they needed to do was reset It’s but you ran your mouth to them blaming the tower and that was music to their ears ( insurance is paying ) $900 plus
$800 for test - SHARKS !!!!!! was never burned. Impossible.
Its a Nissan not a Tesla or Range Rover like mine.
    Just saying
Stay safe my friends the Covid-19 is no joke. 🇺🇸🙏🏼😎

Your smartest choice is to file the claim against the tow company. Not Agero. Then again, this guy seems like the worst kind of customer...

Agero is correct this time. These stories have a lot of fishiness. And no, I don't work for them. However I am in the industry and I get sick of hearing all these bogus claims. Both of these claims sound bogus for multiple reasons

If you needed your car towed twice you need a Toyota.
