They're not steps, they're different options to try. Most easy would be to mist the garment and then do the permanent press dryer run suggested as one of the last "steps."
I have tried everything but spray on wrinkle releaser, (including ironing when they are damp) and nothing works so far. Has anyone tried spray on wrinkle releaser? I shudder to think what chemicals are in them. I thought I was the laundry queen but I guess I am downgraded to princess now. I am about ready to take the curtains outside, hose them down and let the "weight of the water" pull the wrinkles out. It's not heavy enough with water from just being washed unless you took the item out before it spins. I am talking curtains here ...plus this video should be enough to discourage anyone from buying woven polyester clothes ever again. Knits are OK, but not weaves.
Often, the creases left from the folds in packaging of the items NEVER seem to unwrinkle. I've had this problem with polyester clothing and curtains. Steaming and ironing don't seem to work. Any ideas on how to remove these stubborn, "permanent" creases?
Hi can someone help me my jacket is a 100% polyester and not allowed to use an iron but i tried to because there's so much wrinkles but then after, the wrinkles are still there. what should i do? it cannot be wash in machine, not in tumble dry, not in shine dry and not in iron as t indicates in its wash tag :(
Mine too. It wrinkled when I packed it to move. It can only be dried cleaned. I took to a dry cleaner, and the lady honestly told me she couldn't guarantee the wrinkles would come out, so I brought it back home. 😢
someone help? so i have a polyester collared uniform shirt for my work and ive had it for awhile now, but i ironed it without using the cloth and now it has permanent wrinkles that WILL NOT UN-WRINKLE, it doesnt matter if i wash it again and let it out to dry the wrinkles will not remove themselvess. any tips?
Really.hate fake.fibers but u cant.find bulk table cloths..they make.a.wrinkle spray now.days..doesnt.really work any. Better than water allowed.to.sit.on.the item
This suggestion is not worded correctly because you don't iron then put in the dryer and then hang. The video says first iron then dryer then clothesline no no no no no no crazy either the one or the other but not all three at once
Just remember to iron first, then lightly spray the fabric with water from a spray bottle. I mean common sense tells me it should be the other way around, but the video says otherwise, so... umm... ok. lolol
I am still performing these steps over and over and over since this came out. Thanks.
Lol
This makes no sense to me. Iron THEN wash ...huh?!
all those "steps", It makes no sense to do them in order. I think they meant, "Method 1" ect. =S
HaHa They meant if one doesn't work, try another. 😂

Once you have rid the polyester of wrinkles, polyester is quite resistant to wrinkles unless you fold them tight for long periods.
Those aren’t steps, they’re different ways to do it.
Exactly but the video doesn't word it that way.
Can I use a pillow case as an ironing cloth? I cannot find one in my area and I have a project I need to finish.
Holy cow!.. iron then wash ten times then more stuff!!
how you get fold lines out of slicker fabric?
Is that pressing cloth anything special, or would just a thin, old piece of bed sheet do as well?
And old pillow case is good
@@Catg1222 will the same method work on nylon fabric?

Thanks ! I was thinking heat, but wasn't sure how. I thought of a hair blower. 😂

Throw that thing out the window and that should fix your problem 100%

tbh I used the first solution and closed the video.
for really omg I just want the wrinkles out of my tablecloth shit
When ironing polyester, I put the settings of my iron on silk and use steam. VOILA! No more wrinkles.

I think using a cloth is a must. Direct ironing might damage the polyester
So many steps jeez. It’s not even worth wearing the shirt if you have to do this every time
I really hate polyester but sadly it is so hard to find cotton and rayon anymore.
is that milo?
Every polyester fabric has the no iron sign on it
So this is what Milo Yiannopoulos did before he was a political commentator...

I really do be trying to do this with a cheap pride flag
me and my Mexican flag:
literally what im doing
Same just got a pride flag
burn the pride flag
For best results when ironing your pride flag, put iron on highest setting, lay it on the flag and leave it for a few hours. 👍
0:07 I almost thought this was Philip Jennings from a lost episode of The Americans at first

These orders make no sense.
