The defector in the video, against orders from the Existential Collective for the Reorganization of Realities, Past, Present, and Future (ECRRPPF) to eliminate a perceived enemy, attempts to rescue the leader of the Abbey of Determinism, Delph Q-9, who is the only one capable of saving the universe from the imminent paradoxical implosion. Unfortunately, as is often the case, the truth is quickly silenced by those whose power relies upon perpetuating lies and double-think, including that free-will exists, but all beings must obey the commands of the ECRRPPF. This theme is ingeniously illustrated in the end of the video, when it is revealed that Delph Q-9 is in fact an automaton, causing the defecting soldier to further understand that he is no different. In other words, that his destiny, although not determined by programming circuitry, was just as unavoidable as a result of synaptic transmission nerve impulses beyond his control. With this knowledge, the defector finds peace knowing that his death was already written in the stars, and takes his last breath with no regrets.
