Canon Selphy Square QX10 (First Impressions)

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
1. Square format (like in Instagram)
2. Very thin and lightweight (did I mention that the back can be peeled off and can be used as a sticker?)
3. Nice print quality (but make sure to print high resolution photos too!)
4. Can print collages up to 4 photos (but you can always edit the photo first prior printing so that you can insert more than 4)
5. Accessible refills (you can get it from CameraHaus PH; 1 pack = good for 20 prints / 1 ink tray and 20 pieces of paper)
6. Customizable with stickers, frames (also text, overcoat, etc.)
7. A minute to print (it uses dye-sublimation technology and finishes with a special transparent coating to protect the print!)
8. Easy to refill the ink and paper (no fuss!)
WHAT CANON CLAIMS
1. Prints can last up to 100 years
2. Dirt-proof and water-resistant
WHAT I DO NOT LIKE
1. The mobile application (SELPHY Photo Layout) is not that user-friendly when it comes to navigating the photo albums/folders.
2. The application uses WiFi network/hotspot to connect the mobile device to the printer, so it drops your current WiFi network (with internet) momentarily until it successfully prints out.
3. You cannot use up the entire paper size for printing. Maximum print size is 2.7" x 2.7" (i.e. when you choose "narrow border").
4. Limited selection of frames, stickers, fonts, etc.
