I like this deck, a lot! But it didn’t come with the guide book. I would really like to learn the second spread it shows. I just happened to get a glance of it from another reader who was flipping thru it in her video. But, thank you, just the same. Very helpful and I’ll be doing the spread for myself today. 😁
The deck only comes with a leaflet no actual guidebook. The exact same leaflet has come with the deck for the over 100 years the deck has been in print, despite changing publishers numerous times. There was a very short period of time when US Game Systems published a book supposedly about this deck, with a 100% fictional history to it, the false information/book didn't go over well which is why it is really hard to find that book now (as it should be) and I don't recommend it. They shouldn't profit from spreading racism which is what that book did in essence. It was such a flop for them (thankfully) that the deck is now published by the company Bicycle and is no longer in the corporate greed hands of US Game Systems. However, Bicycle is the first publisher to alter the appearance of the cards and some purists aren't happy about that.
Also, this spread isn't in the leaflet that comes with the deck and was not a traditional way of reading these cards. It's a VERY modern spread no where near as old as the deck and wasn't used for most of the deck's history. Still very useful but not historically accurate.
