      Hello, Darlene and Boris. Are there cobra snakes in your property? Darlene just moves around freely along that part with ravines...careful you two. You have falcata trees. You are close to PICOP (Paper Industry Corporation of the Philippines) and one of the tree species they plant is falcata. Those are beautiful tall shady trees.

  • @prissy311
    @prissy311 9 дней назад +2

    Ravine can be useful when there's a flood during the heavy rain season. It would help these ravines from widening if you plant some bamboo in the slopes or some cassava plants. You can also use the bamboo for furniture or building or just sell it or harvest and eat some of the baby shoots to control the population of the bamboo. The cassava is edible and has many usage and its roots will serve as prevention for erosion.

    It is my opinion that it is spring water coming out from the ground. It is very admirable and comforting to note that you consider leaving exotic plants to thrive. It could even be that some day some of these will very seldom to find, will become quite biological treasures

    You have done well Darleen and Boris. Yes do get some grafted fruit trees and plant them. They will bear fruit faster than if you used the seeds. Please do not drink the sap from the rubber tree. It might cause you alot of harm. I have never heard of anyone eating the sap of the rubber tree. The third plot of land is ideal for building your home because it is on elevated land and it won’t flood. Take care.

    Puwedekayong gumawa ng maliit na dam doon sa may parang spring water, para Maison ang tubig. Then bumili kayo ng water pump para gamiting pandilig. Gumawa kayo ng tangke ng tubig . Kabitan ng mga hose, para madali ang pagpapatubig sa halaman. Kung malinaw naman ang tubig puwedeng panghugas o pambanlaw sa labada.

    You can easily take root divisions of your bamboo and spread them around property. However, in Philippines the two best bamboos for construction are Dendrocalamus Asper and Bambusa Tulda. Best to look for a nursery selling those and get a few plants.

    I am new subscriber from USA, so happy for you young folks, it makes me remember when I bought my first farm I was so happy and your age I am now 70 years old, I just want to say that something made those ravines on your land, it looks like when it rains a lot those ravines maybe fill with rushing water, so you may want to see what is the driest place on your land to build, sometimes it is difficult to know how wet a place will be until rainy season and then your spring may be under water, you will know when you have rainy season, I don’t know if you will get pigs here in US pigs keep snakes away and poisonous snakes can not hurt pigs, I love your videos and will watch every one you post, thank you so much for sharing your journey with everyone.
