@@OTWD_yt I’ll be in Mumbai 20-22 Feb, then Goa for a week, then onto Karnataka for a week, then a further 5 weeks moving around India.
Remember to try out all the local Melaka speciality food such as the Nyonya Baba dishes, The Cendol Gula Melaka, The Nyonya Laksa, Chicken rice balls and Satay Celup while you're there. It's a must try when in Melaka!😊👌

IN KL , u can just pay RM5 per day for usage of all LRT ,,, except KOmmuter . Just walk to the counter and say Day pass ,,, and see how the customer service can help u . With RM 5 , u can travel the whole day...
for local we use the T & G Card - we go to the counter and tell the customer service - daily pass - they will locked rm 5 for the whole day .. no matter how far we travel ,,, using LRT service ,,, we just have to pay RM 5 ,,,GIve it a Try ..Save a lot on the Trains

Travelling (in parts of Malaysia) is surprisingly cheap and easy and a lot more comfortable than you would expect as I'm sure you found. Lotus was Tesco's partner in Thailand and they did a great job. Tesco in Malaysia was awful, nothing like as good as back home. So, Lotus taking over Tesco in Malaysia was possibly a good thing, but IMHO they are still not as good as the UK or Thailand. I am going to have to try Air BnB. I have always avoided it due to horror stories of add ons.
We found in terms of value for money Airbnb wins. Make sure you go for a superhost.
We loved melaka! Very cheap and lots to see. Can't wait for you's tell everyone how much the loop train cost to build ...that isn't being used

We did the same route as yours but it was a nightmare coming back to KL the bus 🚌 had broken down we got into KL Central we had to share a grab with another passenger back to Bukit Bintang 😊🇱🇷

Ah, that train skipping the station where you were supposed to get off, I experienced something similar in Paris last year, I was alone going back to my airbnb in the suburb outside paris about 12 or 15 stops away, after exploring the city centre by myself. I didn't speak or understand french other than the few basic phrases. They made some announcements while the train was rolling along about 2 stops before mine, but I couldn't catch anything they said. Then the train did not stop at my station. It was my first time in paris too, oh boy! I got off at the next station, and after a short while I luckily managed to get a train official who spoke a bit of english, so I went down again to the track, boarded the next train heading back towards paris again, which as that official pointed out, did stop at my station after all, phew! It turned out that evening only the trains going out of paris did not make that one particular stop, for whatever reason still unknown to me

actually lotus is originality tesco. but tesco in malaysia sell all their business here to another company hence now its called lotus.. I think tesco sell their business to the conglomerat from thailand if I am not mistaken.. and they just rebranding their name to lotus only few years ago. still new.
