I think the wildest thing about being an 07th fan is stumbling across these old videos. As I type this now this video is ~14 years old in early 2023. In researching this video's release date on Sep 16, 2008, this puts this video's release between the original release of Episode 3 (Banquet of the Golden Witch August 16, 2008) and Episode 4 (Alliance of the Golden Witch December 29, 2008). Absolutely insane to think this video was released in the height of Umineko's original release. And here I am 14 years later in the exact spot of reading it, but unlike the time this video was made, the internet is full of spoilers. For any new Higurashi/ Umineko fans, imagine how crazy cool it must've been to have absolutely no idea where the story was going, awaiting on that next release... with only Ryukishi07 knowing where the story is headed. I'm sure those original people didn't know what was lined up for them.
As underground as Umineko is, I think its story is enduring and timeless enough people will still be making meme videos and fan videos about it. I am detached from the current weeb/anime subculture, I don't know any new anime/manga, just the ones I knew from back then.
Hanyuu's reaction is cute and priceless she can't tell them apart and Rika's like nipah over here dummy when I 1st saw Bern I was like Rik- dark hair it's trollkastel! I figured it was her pretty fast but it sure fooled me lol Bern's like what? She has her usual expressionless face nothing hardly chages with her XD
Whoah, the ending with Battler and I"m guessing his sister surprised me because it just showed a picture of her and I hadn't thought that she could be Battler's sister but then it showed them as kids

Frederica is the orginal, rika is her alter ego in a way, and Bernkastel was born from one of the rika repeats, and named her self after the wine her father used to drink.

@4evadiamondz I agree. I enjoy Umineko, but I miss the dark and paranoid atmosphere that Higurashi had. However, compared to what else is on the market, I find they are both tiers above the rest.
@Chiimokosan though i think theyd have a few personality...disagreements...considering hanyuu is moe and beato's a sadist, plus, theyd be on opposite ends of the board, cause the situation shes created is similiar to the one rika struggled against for hundreds of tragedy filled years, although. id have to say in umi the situation is a bit more gruesome

For people wondering who higurashi people would be I have an answer for takano, rika and hanyuu. WARNING MASSIVE SPOILERS Rika would obviously be bernkastel and Takano would be Lambadelta. (Higurashi was the game that Bern beat lambadelta in by preventing the deaths in june 1983) But Hanyuu is a less obvious one. She would be Featherine Augustus Aurora. The kanji in Hanyuu's name roughly translate as Feather In. Feather In=Featherine. And AUgustus AUrora =auau. Oh and there's the horns too
You are exaggerating the blood thing. (Unless you counted the op and ending) The stabbing in the heads scenes only happened twice. The actual anime isn't that bloody.
