I heard this for the first time in the late 80's when I was about that age as well, eleven. Loved it and almost all of his music then. Especially the docklands concert that was on repeat on the VCR.

I am Jean Michel Jarre fan since 1980, I remember on my first Unitra Uvertura Stereo magnetophone Oxigen and Equinoxe, sounds like brain remedy, and soon after, the 3rd and the best (in my opinion), the great MAGNETIC FIELDS, was the only music for me in that days. Concerts in China was the synthesis of all and plus. Best regards to JMJ and Fans!

I've listened to Jarre, Vangelis , Kitaro, Jon Anderson & Vangelis , Yes with Jon Anderson since I was a child in the early 1970's . I can still hear in my head "The Friends of Mr. Cairo" , Magnetic Fields, Silk Road, Starship troopers and more. I love it all, then and now. And Kraftwerk, one of the original masters.
And correct me if I'm wrong, but does not the music around 03:21 sound like it is from the sound track of Ridley Scott's "BladeRunner"? Awesome, simply awesome. :-)
