You may argue that symbiote umped up Peter's powers for the second time because it picked up some powers over the years or the writer didn't do research into Venom lore. 🤔
With him holding back so much, it makes me wonder what the full strength of a symbiote spiderman would be without holding back against characters like Venom, Rhino, & Lizard
PS: Symbiote Spider-man + Magic Training = OP Spider-man
He doesn't hold back against Venom, even punching Venom's face hurts his fists more than Venom.

@@veermcnair8041no, he doesn't. It's been stated everytime he fights punching venom actually hurts him. You guys are taking that one stupid Dan Slott panel way too seriously. When it comes to high tier villains, he's not holding back. They can just evenly match him.
Heck, the comics put out a tier list on where Peter stands compared to other heroes and he's below like cage and others

See, the original 616 venom symbiote was never actually evil. In fact it had spider-man ever wanted in a costume. The only downside was that he would always be tired because the suit took him out to fight crime at nights when he's asleep. Which is then, still a problem that can be worked around.
The only reason on why he even took it off was because it was alive. Which kinda makes peter a real jerk (makes him even more of a douche when you think about the fact that the comics and other media portray him as a biology major). The symbiote being evil was only introduced in the 90s cartoon which then carried out to the movies and other stuff. This being included in the story makes peter a little less of a jerk for trashing the alien goop we love.
I also kinda hate marvel for never giving us a proper What if? story about spidey keeping venom. Its always "the suit posseses peter and makes him evil" or "the suit uses peter's body and kills everyone" there's never a story were Spidey fully bonds with a suit, discovers he can talk to it (Venom) and actually does even better with the suit.
6:38 technically speaking Spider-Man is always using magic hand signs. There was a comic where Peter and Strange comment how they use the same hand sign, they treated it as an interesting coincidence, but years later Anya starts using Spider Magic. Which makes sense when you remember that her hero origin is explicitly magic in nature. Peter makes a joke about her stealing Strange's theme, but she replies that Spider Magic is older, and that’s the reason why Strange makes those hand signs.
Not entirely a major retcon by the way. Anya initially had a magic sidekick, there is a race of Spider People, not the half spider and human kind, the giant Spiders in two legs kind. They existed before humanity, and similar to how Strange is aligned to Oshtur, the Spiders are technically aligned to Gaea.
He's probably Namor level of strength if not slightly below or above depending of the amps he gets with the symbiote suit.

One of the best examples of how powerful and eventually corrupted he could become came from the 2021 What If story called Spider's Shadow. A very dark and brutal take on symbiote Spider-man letting go and losing control.
So if spiderman got the symbiote back after the symbiote knows his power already ... yeah i never thought about that

Basically we know spiderman and venom are both very powerful and when Peter gets the black suit it’s basically spiderman and venom combined so he has both of their powers and strength which makes him insanely op imagine he’s so strong normally and when combined with venom he reaches a whole new level
Imagine of spiderman bonded with toxin
For example toxin with a normal human as a host was abel to beat up both venom and Carnage at the same time with ease
With spidey he would be beyond op

Spider Man 90s TAS Symbiote completely overpowered Rhino literally Grab him by his legs wan throw all around the place even was able to lift fire trucks with ease. In Spider Man 3 the Game he Was able to lift and Throw Train carts and at a tilted edge and also overpowered the Kaju Lizard by grabbing its tail and throwing it into generators. In WOS Black Suit Spider Man can casually yeet Cars and Trucks with ease and actually Rip Symbiote Wolverine in half something The Hulk has difficulty doing yeah the Symbiote is op.

I know is not a popular theory but i am of the who think the symbiote dont give a multiplier, is just the symbiote that strong. What i mean is Symbiote Spiderman is not stronger them Venom, they actually both equal on strength because that is how powerful the symbiote is. No matter how strong is Spiderman, he cant can be more powerful if anyone is using the Symbiote (Unless this is more stronger that the Symbiote, like Thor or Hulk). I know this is not a popular theory, and is not that fun in practice, but its make sense in my head (even when power levels dont make sense on comics)
I think it's like a add-on. The symbiote itself is already super humanly strong but then Spider-Man strength just adds on top of it! Spider-Man stated in this video

I will say anything Normal base Venom can do Symbiote Spiderman can do but better meaning no cosmic symbiote feats.Any feat that Venom did before Eddie Brock became the king in black Symbiote Spider-Man can do meaning symbiote Spider-Man can create weapons from the symbiote grow wings any powers Venom has shown Symbiote Spidey can do before Eddie became became The King in black Symbiote Spider-Man has those powers except that laser blast power that Venom had for a bit. Except the feat of Venom fighting the juggernaut because Venom was amped by microbes or something haven't read that comic. I don't think Symbiote Spider-Man can fight the Juggernaut but I could be wrong considering that in the shattered dimensions video game Spider-Man fought the juggernaut so.
