"What happened?", "Uh, it broke", "Must have been bad Mexican gas, happens all the time" "uh, yeah, something like that" "hmm, good thing, you have 1 day left on your 1 year warranty" Toyota fixed it for free! They break front diff stub axles or CV joints with such regularity that I can tell which broke by the all to familiar sound it makes while breaking.
Elderly asian man once told me that in the early days till today Toyota management are quite generous to foreign toyota counterfeit spare parts makers in many asian countries, and its cheap & easy to find, and that's what has make old toyota that were build in the 60s-70s still roaming in the 90s where others were rarely seeing on the road. From there many people stared thinking that Toyota are a very good build vehicles, easy and cheap maintenances where peoples trust on this brand started to build up strong in peoples mind and had become a first choice for many. Good selling means good income for the company and from there they developed better versions with prices surpassed continental car brands where back then toyota cars was relatively less than half of their prices. With on getting spare parts of most continental's cars in those days may took months and at a very high cost, used continental cars then became a second choices not for many average asian cars owner. Maybe that one is part of their success business strategy building trust in peoples mind about durability of their cars.

Best ad of my life
As someone who's done a lot of rough country four wheel driving I can assure you that the unbreakable hilux is the most broken hunk of junk in the Australian bush. They break front diff stub axles or CV joints with such regularity that I can tell which broke by the all to familiar sound it makes while breaking.
Most realistic add ever.

Toyota is the most recalled car in the history of man. Hope you get that recall letter before your breaks give out
Toyota Australia always had great ad agencies.
I swear, toyota got the best engineers
No. Toyota got best managers
素晴らしい!
Toyota will never get tired of you but you will get tired of it.
They should've used Jeremy clarkson for this add

Это реклама очень хорошо показывает как рабочий чесный мужчина привязан к своей машина, дому, работе, и как сильно уходит в депрессию когда теряет что то из них, но мне кажется она должна быть социальной рекламой а не рекламой Toyota
