Entropia Universe: Breaking News BEWARE OF TRITON SHARES MindArk's Shameful Cash Grab Will Cost You!

Breaking news! This morning MindArk announced that Triton Industries shares will go on the Entropia Exchange in December 2023. THIS IS NOT AN ESTABLISHED COMPANY OF ANY TYPE AND ANYONE WHO BUYS THESE SHARES WILL LOSE MONEY!
The announcement was made this morning on PCF and on Facebook. This makes NO sense! Naval Station Triton and Jameson's Reach are both popular places on Planet Calypso but this is NOT a land area! There is no hunting or mining tax which means there is no way for this area to generate revenue!
In addition this area is not popular enough to support passive income! There has NEVER been any sort of company or plan for this area. You can't simply add the word "industries" to the end of something and consider it a business.
This is a obvious attempt by MindArk to fool their real world investors and player base alike. If they can get unsuspecting players to buy these shares they can try and convince the real world shareholders that they have more revenue or income than they actually have. They can also try and pass it off as growth or demand for virtual real estate.
NO ONE who knows what they are doing in this game will purchase even a single share! This is just another of the failures being added to the Entropia Exchange and it will soon have a fate same as Ancient Greece Shares and NTI Shares. The first still hasn't sold out and the second is selling at a 20% discount just so people can offload them at a huge loss.
MindArk needs to stop trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes and do their actual job! Create content that leads to mark up and demand while advertising the game and bringing in new players!
It's actually worse than that. This is blatantly illegal. This is EXACTLY what consumer protection laws and SEC regulations are designed to stop. If MindArk wants to risk jail time that's on them but we the players have a vested interest in the game and they are putting ALL of us at risk!
Please help us by sending in an official support case stating your position that this is NOT ok!
bro. they are turning a land that was not owned into a land that will be owned by shareholders. its not that complicated.
Just imagine adding different Quad LOOK in item shop. How many people would pick their favorite and spent some money for it. Then every mayhem maybe some new fresh skin. After years, old skins would be more valuable, of course because of rarity.If microtransactions are all about LOOK and never give an advantage, then they are imo okay or even add some fun and personality to the game.
Another idea: Adding special crafting machines to apartments that (only those) can craft some new specific blueprints. Metin2 got system that allows u to "craft" 1 type of ore in "society building", every society pick 1 kind of that building so people run from 1 building to another to craft different ores -> It could be very easily implemented in Entropia, creating for example 20 blueprints that can be only crafted inside apts, every apt can choose only 1 type of crafting machine that can craft 1 type of bp from those 20, then upgrading apartments machines with some crazy amount of wood, moonleaf boards etc can upgrade that crafting machine so you got more % of succes or more skill gains for you when people use that machine.
And boom, done. Apartments got now value and can upgrade their craft machines, they are also more often visited, more worth.
Owner could gain some tiny amount of skills when people use his machine, so it would be more worth to keep apt and upgrade its crafting machine.
Here ya go, new content, and not even that complicated to implement, and apts would grow in price af, people would buy probably all of them.

MindArk shares are tanking. what frightens me is that entropians will buy out these Triton Shares. And since the only way business make decisions based off people's wallet. It seems like MA has made their decision. I hope players vote with their wallet because this may be the only way to save the game from the trajectory its on. MA having share holders is a double edged sword. Sucks that this is how life is with gaming in general now a days.
Also, MindArk delayed UE5. MindArk needs to prioritize the economy because more and more players are quitting (newbies, low level and mid players) and not staying and we need to look at the sellers market. The many shares and what not are terrible risk with negative returns and very small APY. It's ridiculous and sad.

It was when players said.. "OK.. 1 Pec a week is fine with me..". That this all turned quite nauseous.. Remember NTI? 1/800,000th of share of 50%..
They know there are players who, having hung themselves with NTI deeds, are likely to do the same here.
Greed is a thing that MA are ready to exploit, this thing they have created thrives on greed. The money is IN the game, they just want to be the first to the trough..

really all it would take is a simple formula that takes the number of players in an area call it 10000 sq units x pay out percentage, then give it a timer to pay out on, its not that hard to code. so thats likeley how it would be done.
Compet shares come to mind but I might buy 1 or 10 just as a collection and I would be buying them knowing it's just for my personal collection.
I agree. MA needs to answer the simple Q -how does this share you are selling earn money? And if they cannot answer that Q then simply don't invest.

I feel like Item Shop with Cosmetics can make way more money for them than those shares movements.
There are in fact at least few mechanics that can be just copied from other games and implemented to Entropia to gain bigger and bigger fan base.
For example, in Poland still tones of people play Metin2 because even tho it is not RCE game, people pay real cash to trade Yangs and Wons (currency) there, or items. If they only new Entropia exist and is similar, they would flood us. Those games are very similar in grindiness, lvling long long time, rare items been worth a lot and so on. So if Metin live so long without RCE, why not copy some mechanics and gain whole new community pulled to Entropia. Cause damn if they knew they can trade PED instead of Yangs and Wons they would stay here long long time.
And then u can repeat that in different countries. Taking something that is already working, some very nice mechanic, adding it to Entropia and boom, RCE will always win. Run some ads when doing it, and we got it.
I also played Metin for maaany years. I still love it, but RCE just beats it so i stay in Entropia way way more than there now. But i wish to see some similar mechanics that are there, here in Entropia.
And finally pay some streamer to advertise game, that shouldn't be too expensive especially in Poland that got cheap to buy streamers. In some other countries, probably too.
Actually New treasure island shares are better than AUDs. But Ancient Greece are really bad.
In my opinion they are twice as good as crystal palace. CP shares are too expensive compared to pay out and NTI too cheap compared to payout. @@devon5807

New Treasure island shares are second best in game meanwhile.... November 2023. If it wasnt for a few misses over the year. NTI would be better than CLDs. 1 CLD u get 4 NTI and have same or better payout. And still u save 4p. If this few misses didnt appear it would be clearly the best,

You are lying if you are serious. I own both shares for over a year. Payout of NTI is by far better than AG. But NTI dropped in shares value due to too many big Players are selling which own far more than 1% of all shares. Thats true... but when its come to payout. NTI is good and AG is just shit. And thats mathematically true and if u say any diffrent u are lying sir. @@dranide
My theory is most likely they will wait to sell out shares and then eventually the island will pop up out of nowhere and since its mind ark it'll probably be bad for the first couple years too.

The only thing I disagree with here is NTI at first it wasn't the best but now they pay consistently they are still really close to there original price plus the entire share market has been going down regardless CP is at like 14 rn AG failure 100% treasure Island not so sure on that one yet they have been moving mobs around and it seems like they've changed up the mobs too to try and make it better keyword try not saying NTI is good but it's not all bad either AG tho 100% or at least for now
