Been watching your channel for a few weeks now and love, love, love it! You are both so fun and entertaining, along with showing such phenomenal footage and videos! I came across your Western Canada videos and thanks for memories. I lived on Vancouver Island for 7 years and traveled the island plus mainland B.C. and Alberta while living there. Just made me smile so much! Beautiful! Moved to Newfoundland and I recommend you both should travel here if you have not been there. You would love the island and all that amazing scenery, history and people! Just beautiful and my husband and I travel the island as much as we can! Cheers!

Flying The Nest I would assume the celebrations are very similar to the 26th of January in Australia. I live in Ottawa, Ontario. Both the NCC (national capital commission) and Municipal government are currently planning for 2017 for what will be a city wide massive year long celebration of Canada's 150th anniversary.
If you are going to set foot in Edmonton, you must check out West Edmonton Mall. The largest in north America. Also, Calgary is about 300 km south of Edmonton. July 3 -12 there will be the Calgary Stampede. An incredible outdoor spectacle and the largest of it's kind.
Fabulous tour guests, the park with the trees is called "Cathedral Grove" and it's in MacMillan Park, and our rocky stop was "Ellis River" but mostly a popular stop along the Pacific Rim Highway :)
