Thank you for your tutorial. I am learning a great deal from your channel. Video editing was a total mystery to me less than a year ago. I’ve used several free apps but I became frustrated by their limitations. I think that it will take me a while to outgrow LumaFusion. Thanks for the help.
My conclusion in using luma fusion is that is a perfect contained workflow place. Video, audio and graphics; I glady use the snapshot option when I need a thumbnail in youtube. Thank you for shedding light on the audio presets :)

A gate is a complex idea to get your head around, It is called a gate as it will short out, or bypass a part of your audio frequency/volume, Say I have a low volume fan in the background, well you can adjust the gate so the low volume of the fan is bypassed in the audio circuit so it isn’t heard, it does have limitations as it will also clip out your lower sounds you are making in your speak and can make your voice sound a little choppy. There is some adjustment for this, but as always it will have a overall change result to your sound. It is always better to remove echos and annoying sounds when recording as these things are just a stop gap to try and clean up poor audio.

But when I play the original file on my own device, it’s clear. After upload youtube not clear. So please trouble shoot my problem.

My nephew's campus was sponsored by Senheisser, they always got a ton of headphones from them and once they had like one little rip or tear the school would just chuck them out and the students would grab them out of the garbage because they were still good.

Dustin Anderson Hmmm...good question. I know that they just updated that aspect of LF. Why don’t you just try it? I guess it depends on the external hard drive and how files are manages on it. Just do a quick little test to see if it works for yours.
Yes Ubs san disk stick, one end is a normal usb for the computer, the other end is the lightning thing/plug, (how you call it? ) from your phone or ipad. Pretty handy, only thing it's easy to store, not much moving your files around. Hope it helps. You could use a micro flash card and it's adapter.
I would’ve love to master music with luma fusion, compress sound and bunch of other stuff cuz like how about if I want to make a music video and make it sound good etc I wish they would update that
Tammy, I love your vids on LumaFusion. But I would have to disagree on your assessment of mastering audio. All of those tools that mentioned do a great job of mastering audio. And then of course there are a lot of third party plug ins available. By the way, do you have a vid on fading in and out of a vid/audio file? Not crossfading, but just going from blank to Vid/Audio?

LOL. I have to set the mic off to the side because the iPad is right there but it’s a condenser mic so as long as you’re in the lobe of sensitivity you should be fine. For casual YT videos it’s fine but if I was doing something more pro...you’re right. 👍

Like as if you’re playing an old roll of film that’s be somewhat damaged and pictures are somewhat distorted. I am mostly thinking about the intro in the first couple of seconds with the “A Paramount Picture” I just though how cool would it be to combine with the Rolling effect from Rob’s video. Joe Alurgic You want me to buy you LumaFusion? I wouldn’t even know how to do that. I think it’s only $30 in the App Store. If you don’t have $30 you can use iMovie. It’s free with apple devices and does a good job as well.
You LumaFusion NERD! Hahaha, actually I had a terrible "hiss" feedback when I recorded an event from one of my Rode Go mics... I split the audio and played around with all those features until I was able to eliminate that particular frequency...had a panic attach while I was doing it too...lol. Well now I have this tutorial to try and trace my steps next time I have an audio snafu! Thank you : )
The audio side of LumaFusion is so weak. It is frustrating to use. The Apple provided AU plug-ins are pretty awful and use non-standard plug-in nomenclature. It drives me bananas. The audio won’t even play back correctly once a few edits are made. They need to bring someone in to manage the development of the audio engine. A real mixer, real-time fader and mute automation. Plug-ins on tracks and not just clips, third party plugins, etc.

What are you uploading the audio file in? When you upload to RUclips increase the audio settings to 48

You'll need a denoiser for that friend, I"ve make a couple of videos on that but they're for apps because LF doesn't have a denoiser right now.

Joe Alurgic You want me to buy you LumaFusion? I wouldn’t even know how to do that. I think it’s only $30 in the App Store. If you don’t have $30 you can use iMovie. It’s free with apple devices and does a good job as well.

You LumaFusion NERD! Hahaha, actually I had a terrible "hiss" feedback when I recorded an event from one of my Rode Go mics... I split the audio and played around with all those features until I was able to eliminate that particular frequency...had a panic attach while I was doing it too...lol. Well now I have this tutorial to try and trace my steps next time I have an audio snafu! Thank you : )

The audio side of LumaFusion is so weak. It is frustrating to use. The Apple provided AU plug-ins are pretty awful and use non-standard plug-in nomenclature. It drives me bananas. The audio won’t even play back correctly once a few edits are made. They need to bring someone in to manage the development of the audio engine. A real mixer, real-time fader and mute automation. Plug-ins on tracks and not just clips, third party plugins, etc.
Meat Locker Plug ins!!! Yes please, like a denoiser for sure. It is weak but for the $ it’s still the best. Definitely not Audition or Reaper. LOL
