After watching many RUclips travel bloggers, I’ve been so impressed with your videos. You have great information, you’re not long winded, you have very professional video and audio. It’s quite refreshing and I appreciate your work 😊. Planning a trip with my husband for early March, can’t decide where, but your info is very inspiring 😊.

Been to Costa Rica a zillion times, and of late, rafting Pacuare River is a must before onwards to Puerto Viejo. We settle and love Casa Turire 30 mi. south. It's not cheap, nor as expensive as Pacuare Lodge. I get those that want to get pampered, and when the hotel becomes the destination you'll likely will miss a lot, especially since Costa Rica is overpriced. Returning to CR in October and secured a 2br almost beachfront home at Punta Uva ( Puerto Viejo ) for $170 a night and let the destination's vibrations take over. I did stay at Lapa Rios in the 90's and ran into Julia Roberts there as a guest. I remember the owner was from MN and only had 13 units at that time, Too arid for for me and much prefer the flora and fauna lushness more south.

@@SwankGuide Thanks for the response. Luxe is great, but you go to Costa Rica to get your boots dirty. get wet and not freak-out if a bug is in your room. One of my best times when I was in my 20''s and paid $20 at Zully Mar Cabins in Tamarindo. Looking forward to your future vids.

@@SwankGuide Love Thailand, and despite the limestones at southern beaches, I prefer CR's beaches fringing flora and fauna , compared to it teaming w/Russians.& sex pats. Been going there consistently for last ten years and cycle Isan n and Lana villages up north. Want Lang market does me good for noodle soup with a gooey liver for 50THB. CR is more expensive and less culturally diverse than Thailand. I'll prep most meals next visit to CR. I do like their tamales and Olla de Carne. I pass on Casados and attempt a Ron Don at my AIRBNB.

Have you been to tamarindo bay?? Theres a hotel on the beach by the river on the end of town, but it had a restaurant and French bakery and their bread was the best. I wamt so badly to go back. Also took a ride to see the monkeys and tree that was humoungus like a few thousand yrs old i think they said.
