As a F2P, how would he complete the Artifact Enhancements while passively playing? Each is 20 million silver easily and he only has about 8 million now. He doesn't have the gems to sink into energy to farm the required silver. I agree with @ImRoadblock, this early into the account its too resource-intensive; and for what? What would he do with Thor without the books, masteries, gear to make him useful?
unpopular opinion, but i would deem anybody who spend money on this game finasially irresponsible, i dont care how much money you have, you will regret it
I understand your opinion, and respect it. You are totally allowed to feel a certain way about how YOU value money. The thing to remember though, is that others may feel differently about money than you do. Some people find enjoyment and value in gambling. It's not always about winning. I know friends and family who would go to Vegas or other casinos with a set budget to spend and have fun. Maybe they win, maybe they don't. This is how I relate to raid. I have a budget. Could that budget be spent on other games? Absolutely. But right now Raid is the game that I want to invest in. Some people may get to the end of their time with Raid and regret the amount of money they spent. But I personally would not. This is because I gained value and enjoyment from that time and the game.
Hurndig is a beast and he's good in hydra!!! And the turn meter he gains on kill is awesome.

If you spend money on energy, you just get more play time, spending money to play and have fun is valid imo
