4:58 I’m not kidding that’s the sort of goal we see from top Premier League players. Such a hit, amazing how he quickly generates such power to make it unstoppable. Good squad at Birmingham but Jay Stansfield adds that golden touch of class, seems a nice down-to-earth lad too.
Much to admire yesterday. Coming back from 1-0 down at somewhere like Barnsley shows we have character & tenacity as well as talent. We’ll have our ups&downs but to take 3 points on a wet & windy winters-day at Oakwell also shows togetherness and strength in depth. Also, I’d like to see Leonard start more too (Instead of the anonymous Harris)…KRO 💙
We had a good few players missing yesterday through injury and illness, then the early injury, players filling in out of position, the weather conditions, all in all a well battled 3 points, last season it would have been a comfortable win for the opposition, shows the togetherness of the squad and a good manager.
Great win boys KRO . Nice finishes by Stansfield, loved the second where the DF is trying to hold him down but he spins out of it and nuts it in the empty net 🍻
Can't see what Harris offers especially when Wright and Hansson are fit IMO won't even be on the bench Juuuukkkkkeeeeee - whilst Dykes offers similar, and younger, great to see him the last couple of games and still something to offer KRO 💙💙👍👍
What a nerve racking and awful game of football due to the conditions. Barnsley really upped their game (as most clubs do against us). Bit worried about the left back situation now but another vital 3 points as we needed to close the gap along with our games in hand.
Jay Stansfield was motm by some distance. Not just because of his goals, but he never stopped running all game. His first goal was a thing of absolute beauty. A goal of the season contender and such an important goal to score with us having just gone behind. His second was a proper poachers finish. A massive 3 points to keep the winning momentum going. The sign of a good team is still winning even when you don't play well. KRO 💙
Take the points and move on to the next game, all matches will be tough its a difficult league, just look at the famous names in their wx premier league clubs ans xhampionship side's
Really wish they would have more competent people commentating, how are you on the official club channel and dont know the difference between Paik and Iwata? Pathetic.
He was all geared up to be an experimental right wing in the absence of Keshi (Who he came on for against Stockport). Had to immediately revert to left back when Cochrane went off so early. He was fantastic considering he would have been preparing to play an entirely different position, fair play to him.
@@Deebs_87entirely agree, I absolutely love laird - he does so much for the club on the pitch and off. I think the criticism of his end product is valid but he moved roles twice yesterday and got half their players booked and a red for one for how many problems he was causing
12 vs 10 men, terrible officiating. Phillips first yellow should have been a booking for the blues, ref was completely played all night. For 30 million this ‘league one super club’ got completely played off the park. Their Midfield completely nullified. If stansfield picks up an injury they can kiss autos goodbye.
The past 48 hours have taught me who the most delusional bunch in League One are. I thought it was Reading. But. No. The amount of drivel from you lot is unparalleled. Something in the water.
We're not going to dominate every team in every game, regardless of how much we spent. And if Stansfield isn't playing, we've got strikers May, Dykes, Jutkiewicz, Wright, Hansson to fill in. Plus the attacking midfielders. Jay missed the 4-0 win at Shrewsbury, and the 3-1 win at Lincoln. We put the reserves out against Blackpool's best available side last week and best them at their place, so we're far from a One player side.
Winning games like this is proper champions material

Should hope so considering you have a 15m striker in league 1 🤣

Where was the Jay 1on1 in the first half?
I missed the first 10 mins of the game, how bad was the Cochrane challenge?
How didn't Cochrane's injury make it into the highlights?

Not even close to the corner circle for Stanno’s second
where did laird start ?
I was thinking the same..I didn't watch game due to commitments but looked like he played a blinder kro

I bet the referee is on your christmas card list now.

Hilarious 😂 😂😂
That has to be one of the most clueless takes I've read in a while.
Played off the park with 3 points. Cheers.
