  • The Pistahan parade returned to San Francisco on Saturday, beginning at Civic Center and proceeding down Market Street. It's the start of a weekend-long celebration for the Filipino community. Shawn Chitnis reports. (8-13-22)

    In 30 years have they ever considered celebrating the US MILITARY that saved their country and American culture ?

      The country give them honorable mentions on their national heroes (August) and independence day (June). Two of Philippines federal holidays.

      It's bad enough they were named after a Spanish King. USA got chased out of Vietnam after cancelling their first Democratic election. Would USA media and textbooks ever like to mention this?
      How about USA stop borrowing money from China too?
