“it’s about that stroke” - Stephen A. Smith
U caught that too huh😂😂😂
Madness 😭😭
As in, Klay is playing like he had a stroke
No diddy
That did sound wild lol
They paid Klay $84 million while he was injured doing rehab. Klay should take the $20m and call it even. This way he can retire a Warrior.
You mean they were contractal bound to pay him while he was hurt...... They didn't do him any favors.
Might have to be sub 20 for the warriors to consider it. They paying a lot of guys rn. At this point your keeping dray over Klay, cutting cp3 because it’s a non guaranteed contract so you can free up 30mil that way, then still have to find a way to get off all of Wiggins money, and at that point your probably still over the cap, but you have klays bird rights. Warriors new GM said they’re going to budget their team, and won’t settle for mediocrity with curry on the roster. They don’t want to be in the luxury tax for as long as they already have been for so long. This team is probably one of the most expensive out of pocket teams.
To explain how bad the warriors situation actually is, there’s only 8 teams that had a luxury tax bill in 23-24, the least expensive tax bill was the lakers at 7 million. The 5th most expensive team is the bucks with a bill of 52 million. The 2nd most expensive team is the clippers at 142 million… and the warriors are the most expensive with a bill at 177 million.
I think he will. The entire off-season hinges on what Steph wants. And he wants Draymond and Klay in. End of discussion. Looking forward to the 2025 Last Dance season
4yrs 60 million
@@shonen84we’re past last dance. We’re into the greatest hits era. Klay and Dray are mascots more than players now.
Can you imagine Bron having Klay in a play in and he goes 0 for 10? They'd destroy him on here.
Na they’d say Bron fans are throwing Klay under the bus
Yeah klay? Everyone knows they dr James and whoever is on his team gets killed whether they play good or bad
Yeah I know exactly what would happen. Most fans on social media would blame LeBron for Klay's 0-10 shooting night and say he got the ball to him at the wrong times and at the wrong angles. Lmao
I can imagine LeBron LOSING 6 finals.
“Carry and ride him for a bit” at 5:50 is insane 😂😂😂😂😂
today's show is wild LOL
If they let go of Klay, they first need to let go of CP3.
They can’t afford to keep him. He’ll be a cap casualty no question regardless if Klay stays or not.
His name is Chris Paul not some PlayStation gane
I agree
Any other response to you would be sad, so I'll just tell you you're not funny or worth any more time@@kurtmanning2667
CP3 is gone, regardless
Warriors don’t owe Klay anything. They both benefited enough from each other. If we keep Klay then we’ll never be competitive.
I’ve been saying this but our fans are so soft they keep trying to have Klay resign it’s ridiculous
He should retire. He's done.
Klay is a great shooter even as of now look at his efficiency and his numbers statistically klay is better shooter than majority of the players who signed a maximum contract this season klay is even 4th in three pointers made this season averaging 20 points per game so tell me why warriors should let go klay to the fact that he is still putting up those numbers. Warriors should atleast invest in interior and inside scoring by signing a bigman and let looney go
Exactly. Same selfish sociopath thinking of green. Dudes got paid; stop trying to sponge off of the new talent.
Warriors are bigger than both talents keep curry
He should take a pay cut if he wants to stay tbh
Klay is single handedly holding back the warriors. He taking away minutes from players who have played better and and produced more
Only bring him back if you can get him on the cheap.
What is cheap though?
@@blablablaa14 sub 15M if possible. Ideally 10M
Win win if they keep him or not. Kerr is right about him having more good years left, Stephen A also had a point that if Klay leaves it’ll give younger players on the comeup more playing time and chances to shine namely, moody
@@andrewsilva7542 -the guy who doesn’t know what he’s talking about 🤯
Getting rid of Poole came back to bite them big time.
It was either him or draymond
they are probably playing at a similar level keeping Poole and getting rid of Draymond. More drastic trades needed to be done to change how this season went.
Lol whaaaaat poole????? Dawg delete your comment
@@G30-h5e There’s a reason why they payed him $100M+ my guy. Wiggins hasn’t been the same since he left and all the younger guys loved him. So how about YOU delete yours
@c-yonko9391 trash players have gotten huge contracts all the time, poole hasn't showed any reason for the warriors to regret losing him, everyone important to the 22 chip has regressed bigtime besides 30, if poole was balling out then yes warriors are dumb for letting him go but he's been worse than mediocre
He had 0 points in a "win or go home" game! That's inexcusable. He needs a change, and the Warriors need a change. He needs to go no matter what price you can get him for.
Yup, but the past is going to make them pay him 25 million a year foolishly
they made good adjustment for Klay in the second half of the season coming off the bench. Then Kerr decide to put him back as starter again and when you see Klay taking dumb shots first quarter you know he got hotheaded again and it's over.
Kerr is just not a good coach when he doesn't have a stacked roster. 2022 is the only year that I really felt the Championship is "earned", and even then they had Mike Brown as defensive coach. I liked their 2015 run too, but the championship match was riddled with injury. During 2016, I believe they had the longest winning streak with Luke Walton acting as the coach while Kerr was absent? In 2017 and 2018 they had KD. There are not that many example where I can think Kerr had good coaching.
I think Klay still can play, but only if he can get over his ego and not take bad shots that he is able to make when he was in his prime before the injury, but not anymore. And I definitely don't think they'll win again with their current/past style when 1. the league has evolved to bigger roster being just as fast but taller so you have no advantage and 2. their current roster is older and slower.
why are we babying klay Thompson? isn't he one of the best shooter of all time? an all time great player, 4 time nba champion, why are we not giving the same critism to him? this is what's wrong with the media, they pick and chooses who they want to give the critism, they don't want to anger klay cause they know klay talks back to the media lol
Agreed 100
Exactly, where’s that ben simmons treatment? Klay thompson is so washed but the media acts like he’s the missing piece for a contender
They always criticise Warriors actually, you know who they baby all the time? Commisioner's fish in L.A., see Zion walks out even if not injured at all?
@@Other_Robotslol, you can’t seriously compare the situations and scenarios between Klay and Simmons and think they are event remotely close.
Babying him? They criticize him all the time! He crucify him every night. He’s literally one of the best shooters of all time….they’re not babysitting him.
Klay Thompson has my vote for the construction worker of the year. Bro went 0/10 in an elimination game while building homeless shelters with his bricks 😂
Klank Thompson gone be working at Krispy Kreme after that Donut🤣🍻🍺

Klay doesn't have the guts to leave and not have the protection of Curry to cover up and bail him out.
Didn’t Curry have like 15 points and 5 turnovers in the 4th quarter when Klay threw up his 10th brick! Both of them CHOKED 🤣!
@MsCamicam Didn’t Steph end up with 22 points on 50% shooting with being triple teamed all game and his 2nd best player (Klay) a non-factor? What else is he supposed to do? Score 40 in a blow-out? Smh.
@@MsCamicam It's one game. I'm talking about their entire careers
@@MsCamicamCasual who didnt watch the game only highlights says something like that.
He is done. He lost it.
as a warriors fan, im not mad at our players at all. i’m actually more upset with coaching and the organization for not making the adjustments we needed to have a better season and also have a shot in the post season.
Klay signed a 160 mill 5 years back in 2019 where he tore his ACL. He cares about being the Warrior over anything. So, if he wants to stay then he should take a pay cut. Other teams wont shell out the money to him like he was back in the heyday. GSW is his best option, homie just gotta re-negotiate
It doesnt depend on pay. Its time to move on. Too streaky offensively this year and defensively cant do whats needed. Hed be a great 3rd option on another contender. Hes not going to get Golden State any further than they went this year tho.
Lots of “No Diddy” moments on this segment 😂
3 biggest mistakes:
1. Wasting 2nd pick in 2020.
2. Poole trade too late
3. Letting Green do as he pleases
Klay will get 20-25mill offer and that will be it. Problems will remain.
You're thinking is exact same as mine lol. Only thing you forgot is extending Kerr was horrible. And yeah, they'll overpay klsy because of the memories foolishly.
That’s exactly what caused the end of the dynasty, at least as we know it
Taking Wiseman over Melo was one of the biggest blunders in draft history.
The thing is what SAS is saying as Klay getting open looks if he moves to Dallas for example, but the thing is, HE HAS BEEN GETTING OPEN LOOKS BECAUSE STEPH WAS TRIPLED TEAM BUT STILL HE COUDNLT DRAIN A SINGLE SHOT.
Klay has made his money. He should play for the Warriors for minimum wage, and let the Warriors try bring in a good, younger player. I would like to see a HOF great like Klay finish out his career with the Warriors.
0-10 is crazy for Klay. At this point I don’t think it’s injuries. Klay said he’s healed I think it’s mental.
Could be , he already lost whatever little athleticism he had/getting older + these players coming in are getting bigger, faster , stronger
His confidence might be gone + that rehab from 2 of the worst injuries ib sports was no joke, he might just be wasted across the board.

Part of Klay's value in the past was his defense. Is he the same defensive player post-injury? He is no longer capable of defending the best perimeter player.
Exactly!
CP3 and Wiggins need to go. I still feel like Klay needs to go as well. They need to invest in a center, they need to get bigger in the front court. They have Kaminga, Moody, Jackson -Davis. They have younger guys who have proven themselves and need to be played more.
Sas is absolutely right they don’t owe klay resigning him if they can get better moving on from him!
Mmm I feel like that applies to other players/teams, but this core took them from a 500mil franchise to a 7billion franchise. They are now one of the richest teams in all of sports, you think they got paid what they really were owed? No, so I think you ride the core out into retirement. Klay can take less money and a reduced role, while the younger players get shine.
@BlackMarq20 nobody gets paid what they're owed unless your the owner.. ha its a business decision and if moving on from him is best for the business that's what they're gonna do they do not owe him anything
@@BlackMarq20 I didn’t mention nothing about money in my comment
We need klay back. He shot 0-10
Hope you’re joking
It will be sad to see Klay go. I believe he can still be valuable to the Warriors. Klay has to believe in himself and his talent.
Bring the whole team back, ***if you can***, it took all year to develop Chemistry. You blow it up, you have to start over. You keep everyone or majority, you have a team with having played together for a year under their belts. That will only help you next season. I would maybe move Kevon Looney to the 4 since he's not a traditional big, and sign Dwight Howard for the veteran minimum and have a Center Combo of him and TDJ on the glasses and use Looney as 5 whenever they're not on the floor back at 5. That way You have DH, TDJ, Looney (at the 4 and sometimes 5) then you have Dray, Usman, GP2, Dario, Wings, Moody and Kuminga for Defense. Steph, Podz, CP3 (off bench), Kay (off bench) and that other guard (don't know how to spell his name), that's a strong team. Then I would sign a Mike Brown'esc, Mark Jackson'esc defensive minded coach to aid Kerr next season. We haven't been the same since Mike Brown left, then we wind up losing to him in the play-in.
Personally, this is just me, I think if it was a 7 game series, it would've been different. But it was just one game that the Kings took full advantage of... Good team, bad year, don't blow it up, otherwise you will have the same results next season trying develop Chemistry all over again. Just bring everyone back, then run it back. The Conference was tougher this year than other years... Gotta at least hang your hat on that
Klay also has options to take more money somewhere else too if needs a another landing spots
Klay would be great on the lakers as a third or 4th option, he would have a lot of space and his job would be just shooting if he knock them down or not
Game 6 Klay ❌

Klay start over fresh somewhere.. your mental needs to be protected as well and is a vital asset. Start over fresh somewhere if you're not at peace and the climate has worn thin on you with those numbers you deserve your worth
Klay is a legend but he's not reliable in big games Sadly the Warriors and Klay should part ways please don't waste Curry's last years like they did Kobe
The benching of Klay who is a real champion and a deserving starter who deserves respect is one of the main reasons why the team failed this season.
Klay Thomson, you are a Dallas Maverick 🎉🎉
lol we love mad Doggy
Depends on Kerr growing a pair and stop catering to him! Klay needs to come off the bench strictly! If he has a few good games that doesn’t mean he needs to be on the starting lineup or closing. What Kerr is doing to moody is criminal!
Klay, Draymond, and CP3 all need to go ..
Whoever believed Chris Paul was going to give them anything. He should have went to the lakers where all he would have been asked to do was be a point guard.
So what’d the warriors ask cp to do? He got the ball to shooters in their spots and helped the young guys on the bench. Let me guess you’re a lakers fan lol
No. You need a clean slate. Him and Raymond need to get shipped. Move on. Build young around Steph. With some young bigger talent Steph can certainly win one or two chips. I think Pg is leaving the clips too. Him and Steph would be solid
“You should be respected, even revered.”
The number of times this man said the same thing twice in one sentence, cannot be counted.
No one is perfect. Klay is a champion. Period!
Washed up champion from the past😊
If klay Thompson wants another ring he'd better get to the lakers only team that makes sense if he wants to stay on the West Coast especially with his dad's Lakers ties it would be sweet to end his career with same team his dad won a chip with
The warriors have no wing defenders, no big men klay aint they problem . Teams structure is the issue
🎯 they NEED the click bait for rattings because it's only matter of time ESPN files for bankruptcy
GS literally just have Steph, they're young guys don't seem to want to step up, Wiggins has been almost nonexistent since his finals .
Klay seems in retirement mode after injuries, Dray is a knucklehead and this team just don't have the shooting they did as well to pair with Curry/Klay*
Kerr can't coach young guys as well, he might be out when Steph is out.
@@buddyboy4438 ye so can see all they add leaving at once .

No, I can’t imagine Lebron doing anything for the betterment of his team. Klay is a great player. I hope he stays a Warrior.
Who’s here after he signed for Dallas
Their big 3 have made so much money, they should go all in for wining chips and all take the league minimum and stack the team.
15M a year for 1+team option seems to be the right amount
Klay was playing like a substitute teacher. 🤣🤣😂😂
Bring him back; he is still an asset.
Not so much. Injuries and age have taken over.
Zero points in the most important game of the season, while struggling the whole season. Asset my @ss, there is a reason why he was starting from the bench. He is old
As a 3 point shooter. Everything else with his horrible defense isn't worth nothing
Dunkin Do Nut Klay
They are talking about klay the way he USED to play. Guy just went 0-10 in a win or go home game. If that doesnt tell you the type of player he has become, idk what will. No disrespect, great player and mulit time champion. But father time is undefeated. Throw major iniuries on top of that and even the greatest become JAG's.
GSW should trade Wiggins and save $35M and say bye to Chris Paul and save $35M and Pay Klay $28M and then go out and get a top 5 center pay them $35 Million who can give you 12 rebounds and 15 points and solid defensive presence, I think GSW can still pull one more championship with this core and new big solid 7 footer. I would get a defensive coach who can actually coach. Kerr is overatted with his coaching.
Who is this top 5 center you speak of?
Thank goodness you’re not a general manager 💀
"finished the season strong.." - Look at the schedule the Warriors had in those final games.. I think only 2 teams were serious playoff contenders. He can look good against bad teams.
Why didn’t Kerr play looney he was obviously the anchor during the playoffs during the warriors vs kings round 1 matchup 😠😒
Stephen A what you know about that stroke 😂😂😂
Sophomoric.
“Golden gate is falling down, falling down, falling down, golden gate is falling down, my dear lady”

Klay Thompson - 1.93 m (6'4).
That “stroke” is crazy
Knicks don't want or need Klay keep it moving. SA just loves the sound of his own voice.
It's up to Klay. He has earned the right to choose where his fate lies. He's probably going to want to finish his career on the Warriors and I'm sure they'll find a compromise to honour his wish.
I will never lose faith in klay!
Klay needs to get his bags and win some where else.
Klay should be worth more to the Warriors than he is to any other team. It's an insult if another team can outbid the Warriors
respect stephen A
Nope
Klay needs to learn how to pick better shot selection. Sometimes, he think he's steph and forces a shot.
Dray & Klay definitely played there last game for Warriors
I think Klay has to leave. Taking a lesser contract is one thing, but how do you treat him as the player he is now? How is he going to receive coming off the bench? Sitting behind younger players. That's who he is now.
It’s a very tough situation. Anyone who works or is in business in any way can understand both sides. Klay gotta do what’s best for him and the warriors gotta do what’s best for them
It’s about that stroke is wild
KEEP KLAY!!!!
Whats wilid is that if Klay was still playing like Klay but the Warriors only won 1 chip he would get a max....4 chips and multiplying the value of the franchise gotta get you something
We all know his value. The problem is, the year they won the Championship he came back it was 21-22 so he’s had 3 years and it’s been the same productivity. It’s okay to walk away after 2 bad injuries. Don’t be selfish and keep playing because of who you are, you’ll mess up your legacy. And if he stays cut his pay and continue coming off the bench until he’s consistent.
Just wanna thank Klay for being my favorite Robin in NBA history

I didn't know people thought he was a HOF player. Not in my book, but they let everyone in these days.
Ppl fail to realize that Steph and Klay can't play together anymore, it will be a disservice to Curry to have a starting five including Klay, Wiggins, and Green, three starters who can't score the ball. Dray talking bout management, the entire organization benefits from Curry's greatness. Klay cost them last night's game and last year's series against the Lakers, so why bring him back?
Veteran minimum and come as a bench role
That 0-6 from the field did not help his argument at all!!
People tend to forget that a salary is all that a company owes you for your work. And if you get paid… you have a responsibility to work. And if you’re not getting paid what you think you deserve? Negotiate a better deal for yourself. If you can’t, you’re probably not worth as much as you think. Players always refusing to play, talking about loyalty and what they’re owed. There is no such thing.
Bring KLAY back.
Watch out for the Lakers getting Klay!

One of the biggest problems is resigning Steve Kerr. He hates playing in the young players and is obsessed with playing the older players who don’t have it on anymore.
