I'm amazed you got away with wearing beige trousers, because I know that I would've ended up covered from head to foot in soot! :) Thanks for the lesson!
hi ! i know this might be a long shot, but i was wondering since i am just starting with this medium, i wanted to compress charcoal into a molding, sort of like a sculpture. how would i seal the final product or do you think that would not work? especially if the molding had fine detail.
Hi Amy, we would need to have more details in order to accurately answer your question. Please give us a call or text at (308)665-1566 for fastest service. Thanks,
Sorry! You are totally wrong. In order to make real charcoal, you need to allow the combustable gases from the wood to vent from your half barrel and burn off. You should notice that the inside surface of the cover, you kept on your barrel, is coated with toxic tar and so is your charcoal. You sure messed this up.
If you have a cement mixer, put your charcoal there with water, some fist size stones and fertilizer. You'll get instant biochar.
This procedure i really like because it teaches us the step by step how to mske charcoal powder
Thanks!

So which wood best for charcoal, or they just same ? Coconut, bamboo, anywood ?
Is this live charcoal, is it good for drinking or taking internal for stomach problems?
Absolutely. This is what we use in third world countries where activated charcoal isn't as easily accessible.
