Where We Serve: Timor-Leste
Did you know that in 2019, In partnership with the Ministry of Health, the MAF team in Timor-Leste completed over 300 medevacs? That is the most for any of our programs around the world and equates to almost one life saving flight a day.
Our flights also enable Christian NGOs to assist people living with disabilities in remote areas. We often transport medical professionals, including cardiologists and eye specialists to Oecusse hospital, located in a hard to reach area. MAF Timor-Leste flies the staff of many organisations that are working there, who are seeking to improve the health, education and well being of it’s people.
