Been on Vicodin since 2016 after my military service and back and shoulder chronic injuries and pain.
Was taking less than prescribed only 10mg per day just to take the edge.
It never took pain away to large degree artist dose so years later went full 30mg dose.
Now its hard to get off.
I was able to quit cold turkey and was sick a bit for few days and got back to clear mind but pain remained.
If you can take them as needed is best if you have legitimate degenerative condition and pain as mine is.
Surgeon gave me 30% chance off making my back better so did not take that chance.
Too bad PRP shots are not cover by insurance companies as FDA assholes didn't approve it as it actually works. It almost as good as stem cells.
I had PRP injections in my left shoulder and healed it completely.
It was $1000 out of pocket.
I recommend anyone to first if you have funds get PRP injections as they WORK!
Look into what they are(your own blood spun in lab and growth factors/plasma injected into damaged areas).
It like God sent.
Drugs not fun when there to treat pain 😮 its a scary thing.. i tried after a dislocated shoulder. Had withdrawal symptoms after, it was shit
Painkillers shut down your natural opiod levels making the pain worse when you stop. The runny nose and gagging coming off plus all the other symptoms makes the relaxed feeling while on not worth the pain of coming off.

Was on Percocet for excruciating pain after having 2 wisdom teeth pulled years ago. After a few days of healing, I started feeling the side effects more than the pain relief. Felt like I was on a video playing on slow motion. I stopped taking the Percocet and dropped down to an over the counter pain killer.
that's crazy, I had all 4 of mine pulled at once, didn't even need the Oxy's. I actually saved the bottle, and just blasted them over another week and partied with those, instead of drinking, Lol.

Tramadol is fkcimg horrible. It's an opioid AND an SNRI (antidepressant). I can't think of a worse combination to get off of! Fkkkccc meeeee
About 5 years ago I could not get off the codeine ffs 🤦🏻♂️ horrible drug 😢

Sounds nuts but I had a friend w/ chronic pain who tried a licensed Hypnotherapist for pain & it helped him greatly. He was able to ween off of Oxy. Still has issues but he has a life again.

Two types. Those who become energetic and those who become sleepy. If you get energy from them you will get addicted.
A tonne of oxy a day would have me near in a coma for 12 of my 24 hours. Plus the sickness.

Oxy doesn't do a thing for me. No pain relief, no side effects, no high, nothing.
So the good news is when I get older and I need pain relief from the inevitable cancer I'm gonna get from being a diesel boat submariner, nothing will work, yay......

Nice to unwind here and there but like anything that feels good it can be a slippery slope. Its my belief the it was the pain killers that killed Rich Piana, really shows how toxic they are compared to PEDs

Oxy's made me Hyper and want to party and socialize......never had issues getting tired or wanting to throw up like other people did........Im glad I had the foresight to Not drink alcohol while taking them though, because stuff like that would always concern me 30 years later.
Chronic pancreatitis here, no known reason for it but the pain has had me on the floor in the fetal position, I’ve passed out in bed. It’s every day, chronic and acute.

I had 4 compacted wisdom teeth and post surgery had 3 dried sockets. Holy hell it hurt morphine didn't do anything lol.
Morphine doesn’t work for all pain. I had a laparoscopy for a hernia and afterwards the moronic wasn’t effective but I smashed my hand to pieces and after the surgery it was amazing. Sometimes paracetamol injections are more potent.
100mg of oxy per day 🤤

It took me 18 months to wean mtself of zomphorth & the withdrawal was a nightmare!
