I just got my Spotify 2023 year end review. According to Spotify I listened to Liliac for 25,609 minutes and I’m a top .001% fan. I think that might mean that officially nobody listens to more Liliac than I do! Y’all freakin rock! 🤘
I have watched these kids since they first started on RUclips and I always knew they were going to make it. Saw them live in Destin Florida and they blew the whole place away with their amazing music. Way to go guys and girls. Can’t wait to hear what comes next. ❤
Could very well be. Hell, other than an appearance at a festival in India, I’m still trying to uncover evidence of a world tour some speak of. Maybe signing with a booking agency will get them an international tour that includes North America and Europe. I wonder though if Liliac has the logistics and deep pockets required to pull that off. I’m not sure how well-known they are overseas.

Especially if they did not have an awesome top record label that would sell songs to all the radio DJ's to play over and over again. And was one reason why record labels funded concerts to begin with, as they did not make lot of money off the concerts but off the sales of records which would hopefully be the result of gaining more attention at all the various city location concerts. Sure being well known helps, but it is not everything. Will they appeal to overseas market is a bigger question. First album not so much imho, but their latest one, possibly.

Liliac really needs the backing of a major record label if they want to advance their career. They are also in dire need of a new management team. As to their overseas appeal, your guess is as good as mine, though I have my suspicions. But before venturing overseas, they best take care of the home front first. Playing concerts in small venues to small crowds of mostly older fans is not a recipe for long term success.

They have a new contract with a leading concert management company called TKO. This should help get them some better concerts as well as a tour in Europe. They have been hinting at possibly getting to do some shows in Europe soon, and this is obviously what they were talking about with having talks with TKO and have finally made it official. Although still much tougher to break into success without, it is at least more possible to do so now. Tons of youth do not even listen to radio anymore. Who covers the tour bus and driver, fuel, food, equipment rental, road crew, other logistical expenses, etc.? Plus I imagine the booking agent gets a cut of whatever the profits are. I think the backing of a major record label would be very advantageous to their bottom line. A case in point. In June 2023, Muse invited The Warning to tour Europe with them. The band also performed a number of headlining shows of their own in nine countries, and played in some of the biggest rock festivals. I bet that got to be rather expensive. It was also very grueling. Thankfully, the band has the backing of a major U.S. record label and the largest Patreon page by far of any band, with more than 3,300 paying members. The Warning also has three international booking agencies. Their June tour exposed the band to hundreds of thousands of potential new fans and was instrumental in them returning to Europe in April 2024 for a month-long stay that will see them headline 19 shows in nine countries. Ticket demand is so high that the band has had to rebook to larger venues. Nearly all of their shows are already sold out. Then they’ll be heading back to Germany in August, as the band has been invited to play at the Wacken Open Air Festival. Anyway, if Liliac does get their first European tour, it will be interesting to see how well it works out. It would be of great help if they could somehow snag an opening gig for a name band. I guess we’ll see soon enough.

It is called developing their own style. IF they have a different voice all the time they sing, they are not any good. And likely are just trying to mimic or sound like someone else.
